I think that’s a misconception. Just because you cannot buy a new ICE car in 2035 doesn’t mean everyone will all of a sudden stop driving them and all the gas stations will go away. People drive all manners of cars that are 20 years old now, still plenty of 30 year old Corollas and Jeeps on the road. It’ll be 2060

That list is beyond misleading, comedy effect or not.

Neither are trucks for doing truck things. Small beds, huge liftover heights, crappy towing. You want offroad? Polaris, Yamaha, Honda and others have dedicated vehicles faster and more fun. This TRX and the Raptors are BroDozers daddy can just write a check for.

“Oh, hello proprietor of Bentley automobiles for sale. I should like to see what you offer in a minicompact class of vehicle please. “

You’re correct, the rude and selfish are everywhere! It just seems to be the norm here.

Any time Europe wants to make fun of America for being a rude, selfish nation, all they need to do is point to the TRX.

Simple solution, ban everything that rolls on rubber compounds or emits particulates. Lets go straight to hoover crafts. Mr. Stark showed a prototype years and years ago.

Lol, you think politicians are going to start penalizing trucks and SUVS in the US? ROFL.

Yup. Its why while EVs might be the future of cars cars are not the future regardless of propulsion type. Too many negative externalities all around.

1st Gear: I mean, anyone who is paying attention realizes the rate hikes will affect car buying the most directly. No one with any fiscal sense at all is going to be entering a 72 month loan at 8% interest on a car that nearly matches their annual income in price.

A modern, loaded, full-size pickup truck is a dream to road trip in (fuel notwithstanding). They’re comfortable to the point of lulling you into relaxation, they have all the amenities to keep you entertained, they have great visibility, they can carry all your shit and more.

My father in law is the worst for that. We were following him to a wedding one day - and, of course he knew we were - and yet he decided to gun it through a yellow / red light.

And hardtop convertibles are mostly fine as well.

as an owner of many convertibles, it all depends. my alfa romeo spider was so loud that ate highway speeds you couldn’t carry on a conversation below a shout. in my e46 M3 convertivle, it was nearly as quiet as a normal car (tops with some sort of liner make a big difference!)

She wants luxury, not faux luxury. A taycan will be so much nicer to be in. E-tron GT or the suv would be nicer...A GLS so much more options than Tesla

I’ll say it, just to get it out of the way.

Anyone ever try to run older supercars with modern tires at the ring?

Low quality tools. I avoid tools made in China and India if possible.

According to Bloomberg, the Volkswagen CEO said that Elon Musk’s car firm was “moving very fast,” adding that it was a “very focused” company able to move “twice as fast as the rest of the industry.” And, not wanting to be left in Tesla’s wake, Diess wants VW to catch up.

I’ve visited NYC several times. It’s a city like any other. Rules are simple:
