Serious question: Is being a “Famous Murder Case Witness” now good enough title to get you verified on Twitter?

Except that his violent behavior was documented well before his NFL career began.
Nor can you spell Raul Mondesi without them either
No but I will help cover for you if you do
So no one is gonna talk about the epic 2-for-1 block early that helped spring him? That was about as impressive as the return itself.
You asked an incredibly dumb question considering this kid is still allowed to enroll in school and walk the streets freely. This is an article about a kid being kicked off a football team because he’s a convicted rapist. Playing college football is a privilege, not a right, and certainly not one that should be…
No. Violent criminals should absolutely not be allowed to play NCAA sports. Period. Juvenile or not, if you were convicted of a violent crime (like rape) no school should be letting you suit up for them.
I have to ask: Why is playing NCAA football a condition of him moving on with his life? He raped someone. Violent criminals (and rape is textbook example of a violent crime for those who undoubtedly would question that charactarization) have no right to play sports at that level. Full stop.
You’re still wrong. Nearly 1/3 of NBA venues are owned by private ventures: MSG, United Center, Capital One Arena (Formerly Verizon Center), Barclays Arena (a public/private partnership between Brooklyn and the Nets ownership), the Moda Center in Portland, The Wells Fargo Center in Philly, The Vivint Arena in Salt…
If that’s how they’re usually owned that must be news to the NHL where the vast majority of arenas are owned by the team ownership groups or otherwise privately held companies. Seriously all of two of the league’s Canadian venues are owned by the teams with the exceptions being in Ottawa and Calgary. That said, this…
Because parks aren’t private property but you can bet your ass this arena would be
They do pay for it, it’s called price of admission. Why should the whole city be on the hook for something that only X amount of its citizens want? Now, if the team said to its fan club “Hey we want you to contribute to the new stadium so we’re asking you each to pay $X for the following benefits...” that’d be one…
OK, but that still fails to answer why you and the rest of Calgary should pay for something that 1) The owners of the hockey team will own (meaning they make money regardless of what the arena is used for) and 2) The owners of the hockey team (a group of people worth over $6B) can afford to pay for themselves.
But why should you and your fellow Calgarians pay for something that you guys nor the city itself own? The Flames’ owners are worth nearly $6B. Why the fuck can’t they pay for it? I get your desperate to keep the team, but shouldn’t the onus to pay for a new arena be on the would-be owners of said arena and not the…
Except that this situation isn’t about buying wings, it’s about you asking your not as wealthy friends to pay for you to build a big new house (one that they can come over and hang out in whenever they want, provided of course that you’re already there and don’t have better plans for the day.)
Play would actually fall under use. Reviews are commentary. Play & Stream is use of content, not a review of it.
You know what is their property though? Their fucking game. They don’t want him using their content to advance his platform. They’re totally within their rights to file a DMCA complaint.
The man is in his 20's or 30's and clearly doesn’t give a shit. It’s not like this is the first, second, or even third time his mouth has gotten him in trouble. The fact that he thought it was OK to say and to write off with a simple “sorry, but also fuck that guy” proves he’s not going to learn his lesson anytime…
