The real problem with having both bands share a single name is that certain devices (like smart outlets and smart bulbs) only use 2.4GHz and can’t easily be told to specifically use the 2.4GHz band (because the bands are sharing a name).

At my work, raises are based on performance reviews, but my boss believes that no one is perfect (i.e. no one he supervises gets a perfect performance review. EVER). The reason it’s so lazy is that they don’t have to pay people to find the glitches. They just have to monitor the sites where people post about the glitches.

The problem is the sheer scale of open world games. It’s damn near impossible to create perfect terrain geometry such that wall glitching is eliminated completely. At the same time, using death zones in lieu of fixing the geometries as the glitches are found is truly lazy.
