Nope. MiniDiscs had no such problems. In a lot of ways, they are more similar to floppy discs than CDs (or maybe the missing link between them???).

I agree with HoustonDude2016's comments. I just (literally last week) took my 13 month old on a much shorter set of flights. We gate checked the car seat. Considering the length of the flight, I would discourage car seat usage. The extra free space is far more useful on virtually any flight.
