Have you read 1984 by George Orwell? If not, you need to. Immediately.

I’m surprised Assassin’s Creed wasn’t mentioned as the quintessential “traverse the map to complete the checklist of activities” style game...

I (personally) prefer the pics from MineralBlu. He actually labels who the character is in the photos, which isn’t always easy to discern...

I stand corrected.

Whoa. Hold on. I wasn’t referring to accounts of U.S. history. That’s a place where we should be getting things factually correct. I’m not saying there shouldn’t be more diversity brought into all fiction writing by default. I was simply stating that people naturally will imagine characters in a way that they identify

Nothing makes it right for her to emotionally abuse another person. And what the hell do her parents have to say about this?

I’ll admit it, I imagined her as white. Mostly because I saw the first movie before I ever read the books and I’m white. Our natural tendency is to fill in vague descriptions with things we know best (it’s basic psychology).

JK never described HG’s complexion/skin tone in the books. It was left to the reader to interpret/imagine it on their own.

I’m right there with you Max. My longest foray into multiplayer was Battlefield Bad Company 2. It was great (for the most part), but some really bad experiences involving foul-mouthed 10 year-old boys yelling for their mommies to make them a PB&J for 10 minutes during a match (without muting their microphones) sours

Nah. They won’t just “change” actors....

Yep. Never used the A/C on my 91 S10.

Dukes of Hazzard. In its entirety.

Totally agree. Even as someone with no kids but does have nieces and nephews, I can tell you there is a difference from one month to the next below 1 year old. Anyone who has spent a fair amount of time around infants and toddlers can pick up on that growth scale...

No such thing as overkill in sample set size when the data is easily obtainable. When more data is available for use, it is always preferable.

Otterbox Defender. It works. It makes the phone a lot bulkier, but damn near indestructible.

Having my work invalidated or rendered pointless (on the order of 6+ hours) happens all the time at work for me. Yes I get a little aggravated. No it doesn’t cause me to be truly angry or “seething”. I consider having control over your emotions part of being an adult.

Not very practical for home defense...

I dunno. I’d consider a suppressor an accessory and they regulate the hell out of those...

That just means you need a heavy barrel or match grade barrel. They weigh more, but have thicker walls and as such take longer (i.e. more heat) to warp them.

Assuming that you’re correct that (some) revolvers could be considered semi-auto (and I’m not saying you’re correct), the most you can claim is that DOUBLE-ACTION revolvers are semi-automatic. A single action revolver (like a bolt-action rifle) requires a separate manual action by the shooter to place the next round
