I totally get the idea of spending a lot up front instead of having to pay for cheap alternatives that have to be replaced almost yearly. However i do have a question about the upkeep. Filters, gas canisters for the sparkling setting; they cost how much and how long do they last?

This pretty much sums up my stance. My dad almost never bought anything from theater concessions except popcorn and maybe a large drink to share among the family. I never really begrudged him that. As child, even I could see the prices on the candy was waaay more than what I’d pay at the cornerstore.

He’s right. I mean, if people want spoilers for adaptations, the source material is readily available. The real fun is seeing how said material is realized on screen.
