Wow, someone walked out without leaving money down? I get the irritation of not getting the bill on time, but you usually know how much the drinks are, or can make an estimate, and then leave the money, especially if they’re with a friend.
See, we slow eaters mean more food for the rest of you hoover types. I am perfectly happy to graze slowly for a long time, especially if it’s just me. But when others are there, they usually end up eating about half of my meal.
Hey! There’s nothing wrong with that.
This reminds me of years ago when I first lived in NYC. My cousin and I found a diner on 7th Ave that had actual homemade roast lamb and real gravy (look, that was my favourite and you got a cup of actual homemade chicken soup, too!) for $8. Other food on non roast lamb day was good, too.

I second that!
Off base? Yes and no.

As long as Nana Rose is the Matriarch of that vigilante group, I’m on board.
I thought Ethel said to the sheriff she sent the letters.
excellent from scratch cake is...excellent.
Not only is blue a very 70s style. It’s rather perfect for drag.
I have a lot of questions.
It’s a thing, unfortunately, because minimum wages in the USA are so low. In Australia, people don’t generally tip, but minimum wage is just over $18 per hour, and then there’s over time and time and a half (at least they used to have those).
Anything with Neil is immediately brilliant. Kidnapped Neil? Through the roof. Mind you, I also love Dude Where’s My Car?
*gasp!* you take that back!
