I’ve only seen Get Out so far, but in all honesty, I’m not a huge fan of del Toro. I know Pan’s Labyrinth is beloved but I didn’t really like it. And then there’s the crapfest that is The Strain. Ugh. Perhaps I am judging him on that.

All the awards to you!
I just said this now, but not with any of your detail or finesse.
I’m going to be picky here, and I do get what your saying about original, but original in the context of the awards means it wasn’t based on a book. It was a ‘from scratch’ screenplay.
I hate watched that movie, and then inflicted punishment on an innocent friend by giving him a detailed verbal retelling of the movie. I hate that movie so much.
Thank you. That’s not much to do, then. Sheesh. What is wrong with these people?
I think it’s fine to not watch all films out there released in that year. Or even all the semi-finalists, if that floats your boat in your elite world of film prestige.
And, I may add, there’s a huge plethora of back catalogue to explore/revisit if a fan doesn’t like the new series. Plus, there’s Big Finish.
Rob, you know I still haven’t entirely forgiven you for abandoning your coverage of the horrible and nonsensical tentacle vampire mess that was The Strain (although, I understand), and I mourn the loss of FFF, AND these are all awful, but I liked Goldblum.
First of all, I might love you (and of course, XKCD). Second of all, you haven’t being negged until it’s by the 83 year old grandfather of one of your closest friends.
I don’t expect it, but it’s nice when it happens. My friend is someone who won’t do it and went on a date with a girl to whom I told this fact, and yet she got super mad when he didn’t do so.
I’m not a fan of audio books. I like to see the words on the page. I love theatre and great shows and movies.
This! And Sixie is my favourite Big Finish doctor (Evelyn!!!). But with Eight, you get all the stellar stuff with Lucie Miller. And that final trilogy went and broke my heart.
I know! Not to mention he also called her after sex and to say goodnight, and I love you. AND then he helped her cover up bargain basement Cumberbatch’s murder. That’s a keeper, right there.
It’s because it exists in a different universe to ours.
The wiping of all the apples has to be a homage to Ray Bradbury’s short story, The Fruit at the Bottom of the Bowl.
Do you work in one of the levels of hell??
To help with transcribing, do some each day. And, in future, I’d suggest transcribe to the computer a chapter at a time, or when you’re waiting for the next spark of inspiration.
I’m sorry, and I don’t think I’m overreacting here, but...I think you need to disown them all.
As theNoseKnows says, there’s the CW app. And, there are other, perhaps nefarious ways to watch it online.
