As the rest have said, it sounds extremely familiar to In the Flesh.

Have you listened to any Big Finish? There’s tons of the eighth Doctor to explore. I highly recommend the Lucie Miller stories.
And he was in The Five(ish) Doctors, which is the REAL 50th special.
It was the bit with June, her kid and the husband that made me think that. It’s okay, I’m an idiot and didn’t think it through (as in showing what would be a pivotal scene).
Both your posts are spot on. The whole situation is a murky one full of blurred lines, and I think most women have been there before.
Yes. Someone else also pointed that out. Don’t mind me, I’m an idiot. :)
That makes sense.
It looks like it will be a two-season series? Who knows what happens, though, when you expand the source material.
I adore Peter Serafinowicz. Have you watched his Sassy Trump? The only way I can stomach the giant orange baby...
Try: Be Right Back. The Waldo Moment (this might be a little frightening in a post Trumpian world, but it reads much better after the US election in 2016, and scarily prescient.). Hated in the Nation. San Junipero. Entire History of You. Nosedive. Hang the DJ. USS Callister. Arkangel.
Remember, it’s an anthology, so they are not related at all. If that disturbed you, I’d suggest cherry picking your episodes. Having said that, there’s no more stories like that.
How dare you! ANYTHING Joanna Lumley does is official. It’s a rule, or charter, or something.
How dare you! Now I have to think about what a great show that was and how wonderful Lance was and how I want more. :)
Terrence Dicks? I’d have thought it would be to the Terry Nation estate.
We all know the big bad will have to be defeated going into it. But popular big bads are always brought back, and it’s always with diminishing returns for the adult watching.
I’m personally not a huge fan of the writer’s room, but I do think Doctor Who could most definitely benefit from a script editor, like they had in the old days.
Excuse me, there’s no argument. Speed 3 for the win. Always.
I made a comment somewhere further down related to this, but yes, it is in relation to budget documents. And that might seem nuanced or even innocuous.
I believe it has to do with their vulnerabilities to higher risks of STDs for one. I know that a number of trans women (often pre-op) work as sex workers, and have unprotected anal sex (or even protected, but we also know condoms are not 100% reliable).
I believe you misspelt that word. It doesn’t have an ‘o’ or a ‘y’.
