Was just there in November. Kyoto is absolutely stunning at night.

Yeah, and that crime is sticking a battery in a roller bag and calling it “smart”.

Except it’s not, because in both scenarios, the individual moving to a more expensive seat than what they paid for ostensibly already has a ticket and is inside the venue/plane. Doors have nothing to do with it.

I think a fitting celebration would be for Nintendo to release DKC on Switch Online. Who’s with me?

I can attest to the quality and production value of The Escape Game, at least in Austin. There are actually quite a few escape rooms that have sprung up here over the last 3-4 years, but most are pretty crap. The Escape Game is in another stratosphere (but also costs about 50% more) than other rooms here. Happy to be Read more

Yes, yes, all very impressive stuff. But less so against the Mariners.

Probably of greater note is Matt Cain (!) throwing a perfect game against the Astros.

Actually, whether the word “an” vs. “a” precedes is an adjective, noun, adverb, etc. is irrelevant. What matters is the “sound” the word starts with (consonant sound vs. vowel sounds). You may be technically right in his usage being incorrect, but your criteria is incorrect. Some good points, though.

Not sure how many people here played Full Throttle, but visually it looks very similar.

The Austin variety of lifted truck bros is among the worst I’ve encountered, with some exceptions (obviously). They check all the boxes: terrible parking jobs (or even worse, making their own parking spot), god awful driving with nary a turn signal to be seen, following at unsafe distances, and more recently as a Cult Read more

Uh...it’s a 4,000 lb. car that requires braking to stop, even with regenerative braking. How is brakepad wear nonexistent? Or maybe I’m misunderstanding.

I get what you’re saying about Cousins, except they gave him the mid-level exception, so they didn’t exactly break the bank for him. It’s a gamble literally any GM in the league makes in their shoes.

You said “I whined about how shitty the refs were, especially in the first quarter”, and though you qualified it was the first quarter in particular, it implied general dissatisfaction. Maybe phrase it better next time?

I mean, did you even watch Draymond Green tonight? At that point in the game, those contested threes were probably a higher percentage play than challenging him in the paint.

Since when did it become unacceptable to be dismissive of something you have no interest in? Sounds like you’re assuming gender bias where there’s no evidence of any. Stay woke, bro.

The Warriors won 3 of 4 matchups this year, including a 142-111 drubbing IN Denver which featured a 51-point first quarter (and we all know how much effort GS expends during the regular season). The Nuggets don’t stand a chance.
