UT offers a provisional program under which a rejected student can do a year at any of the “stepchild” schools in the UT system, get good grades, and transfer pretty much automatically. There are A LOT of schools in the UT system. No way to slice this egg that it ain’t bad.
Hahahahahaha good.
Her family members went to UT-Austin but she was also targeted by activists who had long sought to overturn the state’s affirmative action program (and even shopped for good plaintiffs): http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/abigail-…
you know, it really isn’t nice to speak ill of the dead...
She was a legacy. She fully expected to go to UT because her daddy did.
Dear Antonin Scalia,
The only thing waist trainers are supposed to do is make you uncomfortable. That is literally it.
we’re a kindly folk. Seriously, the most patient, helpful people on the planet are fisherman.
I feel like cops don’t hassle the surfcasting crew too much.
pretty standard fishing beach mod here in coastal New England. It’s either perfectly legal, or half the trucks on the road/beach are getting away with stuff.
Great stuff, everybody loves fun fans!
They’re into the Final 16 on goal difference thanks to the results in the later matches, so the desperate defending and mad singing to keep it at 1-0 was all worth it.
I’m as hippie as they get. And I’m all for looking into whether vaccines can cause autism but my children being alive and healthy today matters more to me so they are all vaccinated. These parents tortured their child and deserve to face the judicial system.
Anyone who says that baby formula hasn’t been proven safe can have that argument with my fist.
This “parents rights” movement is bullshit. Of course parents have the right to make decisions for minors, but these people seem to think that children are owned by their parents and have no human rights. 10/10 they think a fetus has rights independent of a pregnant woman’s, but don’t think a toddler has rights…
Robert DeNiro was not happy about people protesting the “film” at Tribeca earlier this year. His words were, “My intent in screening this film was to provide an opportunity for conversation around an issue that is deeply personal to me and my family.” I get it, dude, you have an Autistic kid, but there is a bid…
Albertan here, followed this trial closely...yes these parents...the one’s that before he died took him for some “naturopathic” meds, meanwhile the child was so stiff with meningitis that he had to lie in the backseat of the car for the trip to see the quack doc, he could not bend to sit!..But lets blame the ambulance…
Right, because that was the moment that sealed his fate. Not the gross neglect that made that ambulance ride so critical.
@Zilla_Killa: Ben mentions that in the article.
