I had a second gen RX-7 and when it was running right that motor was a marvel 9,000 RPM, not much vibration, and the sound. Too bad oil consumption and fuel consumption doomed the rotor to the scrap heap.

I too have manuals but I wonder if thieves really pass on them that often part of me would like to think that somebody jacking cars would at least be a little bit of a car guy and what car guy can’t row his or her own?

Nice write up I knew the Toyota pricing was getting crazy but 8,000 dollars (Said in my best Bo Darville voice) is insane. I recently picked up a similar ride to daily and if somebody offered me 8K I would have to think about it.

Honestly it was the first single run I could find becuase I knew everybody wouldn’t want to watch 10 minutes of the class pulling. I could tell something was off or turned up too high the exhaust was cherry about 50 feet into the pull.

Well I am pretty sure I am over the cut off age for Oklahoma but the shop is built so most if not all of the car parts are in there now for broken down trucks they are mostly in the front yard.

It is really amazing how complicated tractors and harvesters have become. Some of the larger combines use GPS to steer and the operator is just basically there to monitor several screens to make sure everything is going as planned. We may not be too far from full on autonomous tractors and harvesters.

Oh I will the one ton is about 5th in line to get into the shop and have something done with it. Ironically it was my dad’s new Traxx that made me think of the the turbo on there is comically tiny and each cylinder in the 460 is almost .94 liters so a similar sized turbo x 8 might work. It might just be a fever…

I have a F350 with a 460 and had an idea to do eight tiny turbos one for each cylinder. I bet the plumbing would be a nightmare but it sure would look cool.
