Damn right, we even named one of our racing drivers after it!

Not enough said... Yes I would let a child ride a motorbike and lots of people do, a quick search for youth motorcycle racing would show you that's the case.
Walking has a higher per mile fatality rate than motorcycles (chechout the UK's KSI statistics). Your thinking is skewed because you take a baseline that is very safe and then compare against that whilst saying 'omg the horror, won't someone please think of the children'.
Lots of things are 'dangerous' but if you avoid all risk then you will have one hell of a boring life. If you want to sit there wrapped in cotton wool never daring to venture out the house then that's your problem.
That's an easy one :)
I'll bite...
I agree with the need for a wagon, but the alfa looks so boring in real life... difficult to tell it apart from an audi or bmw unless you see it head on.
Yay, finally one of my miniature vehicles gets a spot on an AOTD...
This the one?
Windows Phone 7: Weird new styling, does everything it should. Not really very sexy.
Blackberry: old technology, salesman & drug dealer's favourite
Android car: the open source car. Great idea, no application in the real world.
Except with the addition of an apple logo everyone would love it.
Hah, you're a flamingo! Lean your seat forward more, it may feel weird to start with, but you'll get used to it quickly if you want to.
tall? the fiat's barely above the bonnet of a mid size SUV!
That's kinda my point - I would've just learnt to duck. When I first got my Smart Roadster* I had to learn quite how low it was by falling inelegantly the last 6" for the first week I also managed to bang the back of my head on the way in for the first 2 weeks. My missus (5'1") still hasn't learnt how to get in…
I just don't believe it! I too am 6'1" and fit happily in my classic fiat 500 and smart roadster coupe. When I first got the smart I weighed nearly 240lbs and still had no trouble, a colleagues SLK230 nearly made me agoraphobic in comparison although by the time I was in that I was down to 170lbs.
I'm 6'1" and happily fit in my classic fiat 500. I'm sure a lot of people try their best (subconsciously or otherwise) to not be able to fit in cars. I don't know what it is, but they just don't want to be able to fit.
Mackinac bridge "no bridge on Earth has a greater gap between anchorages", well apart from the 11 in the list before it [en.wikipedia.org] , including my favourite, the Humber bridge, as my father made the steel for it.
Ever driven one? The gearbox isn't great but you get used to it and putting it in 'manual' mode stops most complaints. Plus, top gear rated it as their best fun car of 2004 so it can't be that bad :)
