Respect just for mentioning Jordan and McCaffrey! :D
Respect just for mentioning Jordan and McCaffrey! :D
The only question that matters: "Why?"
It's a two sentence infodump
my introduction to practhett changed my entire concept of satire :D
you win. :D
oh how that pains me... once upon, i had the first 20 issues... all nice and full of mintiness...
personally they both remind me of the bowl of petunias from H2G2.
If someone asked me, "Would you like a sandwich?" and then handed me either a burrito or some other kind of sandwich, I would assume I'd just made a delightful new friend.
quite true, they're really not all that rare... though the ones in the picture are a LOT more intense than i've ever seen. here in south louisiana the humidity and clouds are often so prevalent that it's not unusual to see them right at the edges of clouds as they pass the sun.
as long as they keep the humorous undertone to it.
i can't add anything, except to wholeheartedly agree :D
i have to admit this was the first movie ever that i hadn't clued in on where it was going in the first 15-20 minutes... they had to actually TELL me what was going on at the end!
i SOOO would have loved the twist in this one if someone hadn't messed it all up for me... i was working on the boats at the time, got about halfway through the movie then had to go do some work.... When I mentioned i was watching it for the first time, one ass was like "oh that's the one where SHE'S the ghost?"
This picture got me curious... thought maybe it was from a low-budget movie i might enjoy over the weekend. But lo and behold, it's from an article that says it's from my hometown! (Berwick, LA) Even now I'm living a scant 2 miles from there, where I grew up, and I've never heard anything about the related story.
Just as a matter of historical accuracy... The Lord of the Rings (books) is not a trilogy at all. Tolkien wrote it as one story - one book. The publishers wailed that it was far too long to be printed as such, and so it was broken up into three volumes. So, NOT a trilogy, regardless of how it was published... simply…
fictional? but.... but... r2 is real, man...
i can't recall that i've ever seen ANY of Crusader. Hell, i only vaguely recall its existence. As for B5, from what i've read, it was allegedly the last day of shooting the final episode of the series (S4) when the call came down for season 5. Talk about an 11th hour reprieve! :/
that's kinda snarf'd... cuz it looks like a really great watch. if the subs would've been crisp and clear i'd be watching it now. :(
i don't doubt it, but with the exception of the last two sagas of Z, i've seen the original so many times i know most of the script. i've only watched GT once when i owned the boxed set and i was intoxicated for most of that :) i WILL get kai eventually tho, i've been told it's the way Z *should* have been done, so…
two seasons :) but it was aired as one, if i remember correctly
