Getting a smoothie is not vital to the human experience. Neither is eating at every restaurant in creation. I mean, do what you want but don’t be shocked when this happens. And certainly don’t come in assaulting people. It’s a gamble and if an overpriced smoothie is worth it to you then let it ride! Still dumb.
So, it’s possible to do in some places, but not others. Europeans like to look down on us for not using mass transit, but most places here, it simply isn’t an option.

This will always remind me about ‘Boots’ Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness. Where the rich person can afford a good pair of boots ($50) that will last for many years whereas the person can only afford to buy an okay pair of boots that still gets wet ($10) and last maybe a season or two.
That’s because less educated, and divided people are beneficial to the government as well as corporations. It is the only plausible reason why they continuously defund public education - when there is no ethical reason for doing so.
