Go old school and start with FF1 like I did as a kid, and make your way through the US releases from there. I think you’d be missing out on something without recognizing the weight of history in the references each game makes to the ones before. (*Especially* when you get to 14.)

LMAO, nobody gives a shit about these games so if these are the 4, MS may as well pack it in.

Agreed. BG3 is one of my new favorite games, but the overly thirsty companions and jiggle/dangle physics were just too much.

As a programmer myself, yes there definitely comes a point where people need to get up and get some exercise. There’s definitely information out there regarding medical issues from sitting in one spot for way too long.

Being the best video game adaptation of a D&D tabletop game is not a benefit.

I bought Baulder’s Gate 3....and I’m kinda with you. On the one hand, I’m really impressed with the level of detail that is brought to the writing and its characters. On the other hand....I really hate playing the actual game. Like oh man, it’s just largely a frustrating experience to either control characters or move

Making the most realistic video game adaptation of a D&D tabletop game is not a benefit.

BG3.  I’ve got 45 hours in this game and I just can’t get into it.  The role playing aspect is great fun but it’s just so RNG heavy in a very unfun way.  A lot of people say “lean into your failures, it makes the game more fun”.  However my failures tends to be every character can’t roll above a 3 in combat for 2

For all the love and acclaim it got for actual years, Skyrim just can not get me hooked. I’ve tried, Gods know I’ve tried. Oblivion is one of my favourite games of all time. Starfield was perfectly fine. Skyrim? Nope. No amount of mods or trying can get me past the shout that makes me move forwards fast.

After about 20 hours, Baldur’s Gate 3.

Want to like it, but I hate the interface on console, and somehow hate it more on PC.

Daaaaaammn, more Starfield articles. How much money are yall making from Bethesda at this point? There are so many other games to talk about, but no, Starfield is the worst game in the world. Forget all the people who played, play, or will play the game in the future, right? I put 300+ hours into it just fine. No

Come on, dude. There are millions of people enjoying Starfield. People with positive opinions (of anything) are not compelled to write reviews and or answer targeted polls.

These articles drive clicks and they’re as desperate to stay relevant as she is.

Stop writing about this scam artist.

Of course its going to need fast travel because how else are you going to travel the distances between planetary systems? if it was open world as you seem to think it should be, you would be spending hours just traveling between systems. FTL is the only way to space travel; Star Trek does it with warp technology,

Ongoing genocide? What the hell?

Ah yes the PC game on Xbox...oh wait that's not "it's roots" lol.

To this day I still don’t quite understand why people think buying the odd studio and the odd bit of exclusivity is the same thing as buying one of the worlds leading publishers that contains 10s of studios and one of the biggest media properties within it.

I mean, in all fairness, Microsoft has done a much better job at crushing XBox than Sony, historically.

Haha triggered Microsoft Fanbois are hilarious.
