Mostly. There are people operating the scales, but the State Troopers are in there with them, and also they are the ones that do the inspections. Of all the places you don’t want to have a wreck, that’s probably up there close to the top.

i drive thousands of miles a year in my car because i hate flying, and i see truck drivers do dumb shit ALL THE FUCKING TIME. my favorite is the move where they are behind another truck, and that truck is going too slow for them, so they jerk into the passing lane, knowing full well they dont’ have room, almost cause

I got the same spiel when I got my 2015 Nissan Rogue. Every 8,000km.

I’m a Gen-X er and I still have young kids and two minivans. I’m not buying a Mustang for a while, but even then, it’ll probably be a FoST or FiST.

I had the old OPC as a rental car once, oddly enough that they would have such a car as a rental, 280hp was a bit too much for the FWD, but the handling was quite good and if you don’t care about your front tires, it is a lot of fun to drive.

So another person endorsed your disgusting, immature behavior and you think that justifies it? Grow up, you are an embarrassment to adults.

And the model 3 looks great?

I bet you 99.9% of those people have not seen one in person on the street.

I’m in Metro Detroit, I’ve seen dozens of them. It’s a good looking compact, seeing them in white or blue gives a very different impression than the orange used at the auto show.

Cars always look different on the street, the much maligned “ball

many people find teh Civic repulsive yet they still sell by the crapton

The vehicles on Holden’s VF architecture are really the only in-house vehicles designed and built in Australia. Commodore (SS), Statesman (Caprice), Ute. The sedan and wagon will be replaced next year with the Opel Insignia which we will be getting here as the next Buick Regal.

so you’re saying i need to be qualified to fly an aircraft BEFORE being qualified to drive a car to fully understand the system?

Given the requirements for pilot and instrument licenses and training versus a simple driver’s license, perhaps it isn’t the best idea to draw aviation comparisons on this one.

Unfortunately that’s irrelevant. Owners themselves are too lazy to review the instructions that come with the car in regards to Autopilot operation, so you know that those who Don’t own a Tesla aren’t gonna make the extra effort.

What difference does that make? What matters (and has safety implications) is what the public thinks it means — not the technical definition.

You say that forced induction on a track car is problematic...then you pose a turbo as the solution. Ok. Keeping the LT is the only way they’ll be able to keep costs down, which is still a key part of the Corvette’s ethos and perhaps its biggest selling feature. Since the C4, the Corvette has been about world-beating

^^ Hipsters ^^

I heard from a guy, who knows a guy, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, that they ARE making a ZR1, and when asked about the power mark, the answer was just “more than a hellcat...”

It will be a monster, and all the Jalopnik hipsters will still nit-pick it apart.

Most other luxury automakers have their parent and secondary companies backing them up with lower prices. Audi has VW, BMW has Mini, Merc has Smart...etc. Tesla only has 3 cars, all 3 of which are premium. We all know that Tesla is bleeding cash and having only premium cars is not going to help.

You should change the headline - even if just for this woman's sake - yes, she had an abortion but she did so for a very specific reason and it's click bait to leave the headline as is. I was horrified by the title and then immediately realized it was misleading.
