Actually, P=IV which will give you 1,000 Watts from 10A @ 100V. If you wanted 10 kilowatts you would need 83A @ 120V or 42A @ 240V. This is high school physics stuff.

Actually, "modern ABS" is normally tuned for 9/10ths braking force so that the other 10th can be used to turn the vehicle.
