I have faith in this due to it being PC only aka can concentrate on Mouse and Keyboard and also because ID software have been on a roll with Wolfenstein and Doom

This is going to be an expensive console if it can truly do 4k resolution

Its barely there lol, and its not in to the tune of music of that era, very modern computerised music.

Now playing

Bring back the original Battlefield theme song or a version of it instead of using some modern rap song that doesn’t fit the era at all.....

I wonder what engine it is using as the previous one used Valve’s Source engine.

Struggling to see the point of forcing this game to be 60FPS there wont be any benefit. Its a 15 year old game that was designed and made around 30 fps. Its a slow paced turn based JRPG lol 30 FPS is more suited with its cinematic motion than 60FPS precession smoothness.

Doom for me is the surprise game of the year. I just love it, its more doom than I was expecting. I haven’t been this caught off guard since wolfenstein the new order came out. Like how it does not take itself seriously and has all these little touches, easter eggs and nods to the past and is just fun gameplay.

Fancy dress? People have always dressed up as characters or people from films, stories and history

Like all ideas and concepts, the initial execution comes from a good reasoning and made sense, then other people see it then misuse it and overtime it becomes so distorted its just something else.

So early access in the early days was from PC and indie developers that wanted to get fans/players involved in the

Is nice to see that the 3D controller was the initial start of what would become the current xbox one controller. The evolution from 3D controller to dreamcast to original big xbox controller there is definitely a link

I remember playing and having one of those NeGcon and seeing adverts for the JogCon. The NeGcon was actually really good for racing games, I would say for steering its still better than even modern analogue sticks. Weird to get your head around the pad when you first used it. But we were used to mad controllers back

They never made out that was ingame though. It was just a trailer or a mood board if you will. So its not a Bullshot. Killzone 2 trailer was made out to be ingame, which therefore makes it a bullshot.

If the industry wants VR to succeed it cant be having this exclusive software/games rubbish already. The technology is too much in its infancy and exclusive software cutting other VR hardware users out is just going to hurt it badly.

Counterstrike Source and GO are brand new compared to CS1.6 and Condition Zero.

Always wondered why the Koreans get this weird hybrid of Counter strike 1.6 and Condition Zero and Anime characters. And not the modern counterstrike games like source or GO or even just 1.6

Quake 3 just allowed the use of other input devices and didn’t support them. If you were mad enough to use something else and be great at it, then it was fully on the player. The game never had any extra time or programming done to support other input devices. So its a game focused purely around the M&K

Developers or most of them will never do that. As they want to sell the game to as many people as possible, so if the most common controller for said platform is the gamepad, then the game will be designed around the gamepad. Its not just a matter of turning “aim assist” on or off. Everything from movement, speed, hit

For me it was Wolfenstein the new order. While it still had more in common with half life in its story telling, its gun gameplay were very oldschool

I think that’s because Counter strike hasn’t had any real sequels and has kept its core gameplay the same. Its a bare bones shooter that has no extra fluff. And because its stayed so stubborn in its gameplay, its actually become a unique game in todays military cod clone shooters with layers and layers of BS extra

UT3 just kind of lost the soul of what unreal tournament was. It became slower and more cumbersome in its controls and movement. You could feel the change in design being made to aid gamepads.
