I want to buy the iPad 2 when it comes out. This would make me very angry if I was outmoded that soon. I don't know why Apple would do this to their consumer. You can't outmode people in less than six months.

I agree with you, however, it seems that after the initial launch of a new product line all subsequent launches are accompanied by the immediate availability in the Apple store (Except iPhone). @Dr.Preston!: Everybody is welcome to an opinion. As an addition to my point. I know many good PC companies but I've never gotten the holy crap amazing feeling from a PC I've had. It's usually the bemused love that you would have for a pet rabbit that occasionally pees on guests but is still cute.
