Maybe I am missing something... Why is having the weather, twitter updates and last song listened to embedded in a revision useful? To me it seems like a "cool" feature that doesn't really provide any value. What's so hot about it?

@stuny: I believe you can do this with Remember the milk in Gcal.
@D Wiz: Although now that I think about it, you could probably do something similar using the direct RTM e-mail address...
I just don't get it. Why would I need these filters? The nice thing about gmail is that it has fast searching. What benefit does overlabeling everything have when I can just search for messages with an attachment or from a list. The only one that seems to be useful to me is the one that automatically tags something…
@HainesSalinator: For those using remember the milk, I will do you one better. Install the firefox RTM extension. The extension takes anything labeled "To Do" and adds it to your to do list in RTM automatically. So all you need to do is send yourself a message with the to do item in the subject to your todo gmail…
Why is he so insistent on not giving LH credit for making a quality free application? Kind of not nice, in my opinion.
@Daniel Spitzer: Agreed! :-D
I've used programs like Eraser but I always wonder how many passes do I need to make it reasonably likely that it is unrecoverable. What is the sweet spot between time and # of passes? Is the best setting DoD 3 passes? DoD 7 passes?
@Spaztrick: Either that or Jason didn't know that Gina already did one of these...
@Spaztrick: Ah, I see. Silly me.
Didn't lifehacker to this poll already?
I agree with some of the other commenters. Why is LH posting this deal? Since when is this a deal site? Also, deals like this have been ongoing for months. I got a 1.5TB drive for $100 around black friday time.
For Palm 755p and Centro, try minitones. Stick minitones and your song on a microSD card and then you can crop and transfer to the Palm from minitones! Extremely easy and useful!
Is there anyone who knows where I can find a high quality download of the days events? (I'm looking for video of the entire event, not just small clips.)
I liked Ubiquity but uninstalled it because I didn't find it to be stable. I'm looking forward to reinstalling it to see if the kinks have been ironed out.
@HolyPrepuce: I think it isn't only about time saved. It's also about clearing your mind enough to concentrate on what is important and to have peace of mind by making sure that you aren't forgetting anything.
@nonewhatsoever: I was thinking the same thing.
I guess it really depends. It didn't really help me. All it did is brought my 29MB presentation down to 26MB. In the future I will probably try to compress beforehand.
@gundry_pwnd: For me, it is any music that I am "used to". Listening to albums I have heard a hundred times over gets me in the zone while not distracting me at all. If I listen to a radio station or site like last.fm, inevitably there will be a song I haven't heard in a while and that will pull me out of the zone and…
@TheFu: Can you substantiate that claim? The only thing that the article says is faulty is Seagate 1.5TB drives. NOT all drives over 750GB from any manufacturer. Can you show me where people are having problems with other drives? The way I see it you could buy a 1TB from another brand with no problems...
