So I finally decided to give this a whirl... For some reason it doesn't index my start menu which makes it essentially worthless to me. The index tab in the settings say that 239 items are indexed but when I do ctrl-space and then type in an item that exists in my start menu (let's say Skype) it won't launch it. Not

@D Wiz: And just to add on to what I said before, I have tried trackball mice and they are nowhere near as easy or comfortable to use as the 3M Renaissance.

For regular shaped mice, I really like the Logitech MX series wireless laser mouse. I would sometimes accidentally hit some of the extra buttons but overall I really liked it.

Nothing useful to see here... Just test driving the new commenting system.

Wait... Did you say list the DSM as something that can be enjoyed? That's kind of scary. (Maybe even scarier than the Shining.)

@gear21: I agree. You Suck at Photoshop is amusing.

Been using this for a couple of months. I love it! Haven't seen any stability issues related to it.

Been using Agent Ransack for years and I love it!

Uh oh... I might have to ditch Launchy for this...

Do any of the free versions out there support barcode scanners?

I second the request for lightweight windows alternatives... I have tried out klok but it doesn't suit my needs.

That is why it is posted on a site called get rich SLOWLY.

I also need a good tutorial on how to sync multiple google calendars with palm. (They need to be separate calendars/categories when displayed on the palm too.) Also, it was never clear to me when you do the outlook sync whether you can sync secondary google calendars to outlook too. Can you?

@x_shoppy_x: Last I checked, daemon tools does include some sort of adware-y search bar during install. However, all it takes to install it without the search bar is to uncheck one box during installation. See: [www.tech-recipes.com]

I just tried Miotoolbox. Nice! One thing they don't mention on their website (not sure why) is that you can use the color picker to copy the hexcode or RGB from any part of your screen! I was looking for something with this functionality along with a ruler for a long time. Thanks guys!

This is not just for craigslist. You can use site:www.companyhere.com on any site. I often find it provides more valuable results than the in-site search that the company provides.

Can someone explain to me why this is more useful than daemon tools? I fail to see why mounting a zip is better than unzipping it. Both seem to be about the same effort.

@anagrama Google DOES have buses and trains but it only works for certain cities.
