Nah, it was actually great, and a majority of the criticism comes from people who can’t process stories they don’t immediately relate to.

Pfft it’s been on Prime in Canada for months now. Suckers.

This is also really nice for people who bought the game and later decide they want to “upgrade” to the collector’s edition without having to also buy an extra copy of the game. This has definitely been the case for me on several occasions. Mostly with indie games like Ori and Spiritfarer and Outer Wilds and such that

This isn’t new, publishers have been selling the collectors edition pck ins separately for a while. Keeps you from having to make a version for every platform.

No, no, no, stop! This is a GOOD thing! I’m honestly getting sick of articles like this that try to be opinion pieces more than news stories.

It’s not really about the box. It’s about Blizzard being a shit company, therefore their games must be written about as if they’re also shit, no matter what.

This is by far the smartest way of doing it. It makes the collector’s editions platform agnostic. This eliminates instances where you want the collector’s edition but the only one they have in stock is for a platform you don’t own.

This is how all collectors editions should be, really. Get the game on whatever platform and store you want, and then get the CE content as its own bundle independent of the game.

Danny Glover (Lethal Weapon) rules, Kim Basinger (Batman) is iconic, Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy) is fine, Danny Trejo (Machete) will appear in anything you pay him to, and Vanilla Ice (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze) is…sure, fine, whatever.

Welp, there goes any sympathy I had.

PlatinumGames: We agree with Jennifer Hale.

Ah yes, if you have epilepsy just do your research. Maybe you can just look up whether or not a piece of media has epileptic inducing patterns included in it. Some sort of.. description of the content and whether you need be warned of it.

And how exactly would a warning or ability to OPTIONALLY skip certain scenes alter your personal gaming experience? I recently played a game with spider-like creatures and there was an arachnophobia warning. And you know what? My gaming experience was completely unaffected.

Not going to lie, when the noose fell from the ceiling in the dark room it jump scared me and immediately made me think of slave days. Took me a minute to figure out what I was supposed to do. Once I did I thought to myself this is going to trigger someone who has done self harm. Bad idea imho.

I like seeing how the sausage gets made, so I’ve enjoyed the leak. I think the game looks good, considering where it’s at in development, and I’m looking forward to it more now than I had been before.

Pretty wild stuff. The most surprising thing to me has been just how fucking tenuous a grasp the general gaming public has on the process of making games. I mean my expectations were low, but damn.

I’ll save everyone the time and just generate some comments for this:

“Take Two has every right to go after these guys and protect their IP.”
“Ugh, I was looking forward to this”
“These guys were dumb for spending time on a project like this.”
“Why can’t companies just chill out and let fans be fans?”
“The writing was on

Can this guy just go away already?  I mean no Disrespect.  Literally.

Gonna be real funny when Cyberpunk 2077, even flawed, is still better then this game
