I have been wearing the same brand of undershirts for over 30 years. When I was a teen I used to work for Goldenvoice working “stage” for the LA punk shows. If they knew a show in LA would have a heavy showing for a certain gang, then they would make sure to have a few members of that gang work the show. All of the LA…

The real UCI mascot is a little more disturbing and a little more fired up. #goEATERS
People went nuts when the block happened. Mamadou is suprisingly agile on his feet at times. Once he gets enough lower body strength to push people back, he will become a very dangerous offensive player.
I was at the game tonight. This is what it looks like when Anteaters "storm" the floor. You can see Mamadou on the lower right being congratulated. He was swamped with people who wanted to take a picture with him and yet he handled the never ending line like a champ, always smiling. It was a great game, The Rainbow…
This x1000. It is rare to watch a Prezi that doesn't make me want to leave the room. When the presenter does do it well, it's pretty cool.

My first punk show was the Vandals in the early 80s in Costa Mesa, CA. Stevo put a blender on the stage and poured a beer in it. Then he put a live rat in the blender and turned it on. He asked the crowd who would drink it and a red-haired punk girl started guzzling.
I laugh whenever they talk about their strategies for speeding up the game. The real problem won't be fixed. It's TV commercials. Just go to a college or minor league game that's not televised. The game-play is much faster. This pitch clock is a band-aid.
We only have one TV in our family. I love this idea. Currently we have rabbit ears and an Amazon Prime account (more for the shipping than the movies) and our local library has a great selection of DVDs. What I miss most are sports. Now that the Dodgers and Lakers have abandoned On Air TV for cable I don't get my…
This is completely cool. I usually just use a screencapture tool and grab the part of the text I want. Sometimes I even highlight a more specific word, use underlines etc... but I like how quick and professional this looks. Also pretty cool is that it's got a link to the pulled source and you can save it. Thanks for…
Every time I started getting overwhelmed with the negativity in the post you would throw in stuff like the plant, the dog, and especially the mom. Those were the bowls of salty bar nuts. I stayed thirsty the whole time. Nice work.
It's not a "trick." I speak to groups of 40 all day long. If I don't look anyone in the eye I don't feel connected with my audience. It's as much for you as for the perception of connection. Would you rather have them stare at the ceiling or floor? What's the alternative besides you not going to any meetings?
The "Art of Presence" is a huge part of charisma. My dad got to spend some time with Bill Clinton once. Even though they were in a crowded room, and only talked briefly, my dad said Mr. Clinton made him (my dad) feel like he was the most important person in the room.
The link Jolie shared is spot on. I live in Southern California. Flautas are made with flour tortillas, taquitos with corn tortillas. Taquitos are usually much cheaper and smaller.
