you say that like it’s a bad thing.

1.) EVs are profitable and have been for a while

It not only has to be good, but it would be nice if Toyota had the designers dial it back from 11 to around 6 or 7 on the design.

I asked my Uber driver to please route around the taxi protesters.

That’s pretty spot on.

I finally figured out what it reminds me of! A Bull Terrier!

Except that current BMW design undermines your argument. They are bucked toothed monstrosities. Fucking ugly with a capital Ugg.

Right, it’s not a registered trademark of Tesla. Also gigafactories are not just factories. They are factories that have a production capacity to make batteries at the GWh scale annually.

I read that as M-B having fewer trim levels in dealer stock, but you could special order. Theoretically they can do whatever you want to do to your Maybach, it’ll just cost you.

None of those manufacturers were literally founded by Hitler.

To their credit, BMW stopped using “The Ultimate Driving Machine” slogan around the time they stopped caring (over a decade ago now).

Calling them gigafactories is brilliant, as a marketing/PR/competitive move, and and interesting way for the world to realize that “Gigafactory” is not a registered trademark of Tesla, Inc.   “Frunk” is also not a registered trademark of Tesla, Inc.  (Afaik)

Just gonna do some quick back of the napkin math here. 2021 minus 83 years equals... oh, right, Hitler.

3rd Gear:

From the rear it looks like an old Mazda MPV

As a designer myself, I would like to respectfully disagree. With both you and the article. The worst design is always the pointlessly vulgar. That said, there is actually one function to the obnoxious mole rat grille: It distracts from the shockingly shoddy detailing around it. The rear doesn’t have that luxury.

Even Raleway, a free Google Font, would have been a better choice as it’s basically Gotham, but with a neat crossed-V design for the W fucking VW logo that would have stood out.

I’m not huge on the Cyber Truck’s design, though I generally like anything different than what’s out there. That being said, I absolutely LOVE the fact the rear of the cyber truck can squat and use a built in ramp to load atvs/motorcycles/etc.

both are offering serious utility for their owners that cant be found in most trucks today.”

Cant have a single EV article without taking a swipe at Tesla.
