Have you ever driven a minivan offroad?

CRV is for my mom (literally she drives one). The Mazda is for my sister in law. The Subie is what we take camping, with a bunch of crap thrown in the back, bike rack on the rear, and no worries about where the road runs out on the way to camping. Used as intended its a perfect tool.
I have the Honda Accord 2.0 with 6MT. I love it. It follows a 2017 STI. the Honda has lots of performance in an adult package. And it’s a lot quieter. The smaller engine version is also quick and more frugal, and probably can be found new within the price range.
Internet sarcasm is the best sarcasm.
I bought the 2019 Accord Sport 6 MT which is nicely equipped but missing things like leather seats (?). I would have purchased a Touring Model if they offered it with the Manual to get the near luxury equipment. But Honda won’t let me. Once they have certified the model for the manual transmission, can’t they sell…
Porsche’s SUVs are the company’s breadwinners, and its drivers don’t care if their engines are flat fours, straight sixes or turbine 0's. They just want that Porsche clout. Since those trucks bring in the profits, Porsche is free to cater to the purists who buy the relatively tiny number of sports cars Porsche…
I’ve been turning my car upside down for years when camping. More space to spread out and the engine block keeps everyone warm. When its just me, I flip it on the side and sleep on the door. No problems yet with dents.
Gawd sometimes I think Jalopnik is a parody account. They don’t have hoodscoops because the hard core dog walkers who buy Outbacks know that their engines will ingest large amounts of dust pulling in and out of the dog park’s unpaved parking lots.
At least you’ve got a good sense of humor about it. When I was a kid I worked at a car wash and “drove” vettes and mustangs and the like, all of about 50 feet. As to your other comment, I live in San Diego, so it’s a rare car that costs more than a house here.
What car wash do you work at?
I own a 2017 STi, and its got enough power for daily driving, which is how I use mine. What the next generation should have is 300+ hp, and get 35 mph on the freeway.
It refers to neither. It refers to the attitude Ballaban displayed.
Go ahead and grab their wive’s pussys too. Its cool. You won’t hurt them. No harm done.
Well, everyone knows that 747s are as done as Jazzercise. No real rich person wants one. It will probably be sold to some cheap Eastern European airline that shuttles British soccer fans to Europe for binge drinking and fist fighting.
The nice thing about a wrong way driver totalling our 2003 Honda Odyssey was I never had to scrape the boogers out of the rear seat cupholders to sell it.
Same phenomena as student loans. The cost of college seems to be correlated to the amount of debt students can take on. If they will lend it, people will buy it.
In a moment of weakness I took my parents hand me down Sable 3.8 L. Fucking thing would shut off on the freeway. One time, I kept going with the car pointed downhill, it restarted and I glided off the freeway straight into the Ford dealership service area. Not long after it left on a flat bed truck. Good freaking…
Such logic. Have you heard of a place called New York City? Busy streets everywhere and families. The correct question is why would anyone street race on a busy street where there are pedestrians?
Only peasants use the same wheels every day on their car.
When has there been a showing of unintended acceleration that was not caused by driver error? I am genuinely curious.
