Leno's current ratings at the Tonight Show aren't better than what Conan's ratings were. When you add in the fact that they paid Conan $50 million to leave, it doesn't look like a great decision.

I still like Conan, but there is no denying that Jimmy Kimmel has really come into his own.

I don't know. I just find it interesting that there are now reports (I don't know if they are reliable) of issues with aircraft from different builders.

It will be interesting to see what is causing the problem, because they are also having issues with older F-18's.

It's probably Lupus.

Awesome Saturday post.

This was my first thought. The wireless component on the Lumia is almost $15 more.

My takeaway from the breakdown is that the main sensor on the iPhone probably costs the same or more than the Lumia, and that the difference probably comes from the front facing camera.

The Lumia 900 is $450 off contract.

I think the one-time dividend is most likely, but I wonder how much they can pay, given how much of that cash is trapped overseas.

Before they instituted throttling my usage was around 13 GB's. That has come way down since October. I still come out ahead with the unlimited plan, but not by much.

Understandable. Even with them both being LTE, I think the comparison is tough. Apple greatly pressures or, in many cases, completely cuts out the middleman. I am not sure if they still get a cut of the wireless revenues. We know they get 30% of App sales. And God only knows what they are making from AppleCare+.

The new iPad comes in an LTE variant.

I don't think people appreciate how big of a leap the screen is. It is a higher resolution panel than the one used in the Dell U2410. To put that screen in while keeping the existing price point is an enormous achievement.

I've only been through the back-scatter x-ray once at Lauderdale. Nine times out of ten you go through the traditional metal detector. I wonder how many times this guy went through security at various airports to get the results he wanted.

I understand why they would want that resolution, but I am curious as to how they will include an IPS panel with that resolution and maintain their price point/margins.
