I don’t think people that drive diesel vehicles are inherently assholes. I had a diesel Jetta back in the 90's. It was a little smoky but it came from the factory that way. It positively sipped fuel too; I frequently got over 50 MPG.

I had LASIK about a decade ago and the only thing I regret was not having it done sooner.

Please, no more slideshows. I would have read your story but I hate clicking through a slideshow so I won’t

I’ve had NEXUS for many years and think it is, hands down, the best Trusted Traveler program. You Get all the benefits of TSAPre and Global Entry plus expedited land crossings into the USA, Canada, and Mexico; all cheaper than any of the other programs. The only drawback is that you have to be interviewed by US and

Strap your legs together on a vehicle you may have to evacuate while it is on fire like a trussed up chicken? Pass.

I remember seeing a similar vehicle while working at the GM Proving Grounds. They called it the Rivieralac.

How did GM underestimate the demand for some options when all the cars were pre-sold?

I can’t help with wrenching but I’d be happy to bring pizza for the last minute, all-nighter that this will inevitably come down to!

If you’re only hunting, generally you are correct, AR style rifles aren’t the way to go. Semi Automatic rifles are less accurate than bolt action rifles of similar length and caliber.

NEXUS includes all the benefits of Global Entry:

If possible, everyone should get NEXUS instead of Global Entry. NEXUS includes all the benefits of Global Entry and TSAPre. NEXUS is also $50 for 5 years, half the price of Global Entry.

I usually hold my empty beer glass on top of my head. It’s joyfully ridiculous and unambiguous.

You’re the first travel writer I’ve seen do one of these pieces and even mention Nexus and SENTRI but why not give them their own section? They’re cheaper than all of the other trusted traveler programs and include all the benefits of Global Entry and TSA PreCheck. Roughly two thirds of the US population lives within

    It’s gone

Everyone that can, should get a NEXUS card. They’re cheaper than all the other Trusted Travelers programs and include all the benefits of the others.
