Oh yeah

That isn't more OP than innervate + coin = 4 cost yeti or shield masta...all on turn one.

Don't buy early access/green lit games until they're fully released? Problem solved?

Tried Company of Heroes? It's really hard going back to "traditional" RTS after you play it (or even Dawn of War II, which borrows some of the same mechanics). Actually requires you to employ battlefield strategy, instead of clicks-per-minute.

No kidding. Like nobody can comprehend the fact that a static collection of hardware that will be used by gamers for 6+ years can be bested in performance by top-of-the-line custom hardware in a PC. Every time I see that retarded "master race" crap I just roll my eyes.

Should have called it "For Fun" and "For Assholes Who Want To Turn A Fun Gathering Into A Competition"

You are not alone. I had no idea you could do that.

2) Games change; Metascores don't. No matter how many times a game is patched or tweaked or improved in any way, that big ol' number won't change. Let's say reviewers give something a low score because of bugs, and over the next few months, the developers squash all those issues in subsequent patches. The Metascore

I love living in Japan, I swear. But whenever Brian posts something, it always seems to trigger a wtf response from me. (I know that's not your intention Brian! :-P)

Yes, that's hilarious how he's mad at Snyder, but writes "gooks' in his headline.

Typical liberal. You're wrong, but I can never be.

I think that's the whole point though. In Bioshock games, you always play a sociopath no matter what. That's how you were bred and raised in Bioshock 1 and 2 and in Infinite, the whole point is that there's no good guys or bad guys in the entire story. Everyone is pretty much a monster to their own ego and

Agreed. I liked the depiction of Fitzroy in Infinite just fine. I don't understand why so many people felt her violent actions came out of the blue, because she's pretty unfriendly from the moment you first meet her. Revolutionaries aren't always noble people, as we've seen from many characters in the Bioshock games.

I don't think I said that portion was unique...

Can't say I loved that moment of Infinite, but it did fit the overall picture. Revolutions are never a beautiful thing, so I wasn't a major fan of hers in the first place. Her motives may have been good, but the way all this revolution turned out to be... the Vox Populi just murdering everyone left and right...

I

Yea. You know, the more I think about it the less I like that moment, for the exact OPPOSITE reason as Luke. It takes a really well rounded depiction of a revolutionary, that happened to displease a lot of fans because they didn't want her to be evil in any way, and shits all over that and instead gives those fans

Other aspects of Burial at Sea's story succeed and fail more or less equally. I've long since stopped caring enough to try to decipher the many lighthouses and many narrative doors of the Infinite universe. The series' heady pseudo-scientific explorations continue here, as Elizabeth spends her downtime debating the

Exactly, but that's not how Kotaku rolls. I still can't believe this is even an issue, and that people are arguing the merits of watering things down for the masses. That's the exact opposite of a good idea. If you don't like violence don't play violent games, but don't try and make every game fit into some

I imagine there are plenty of people who can only afford one console and would love to have that console play all of the games they want to play. When you see the Wii U launch with games like Call of Duty and Madden, you might think that it's going to compete with the next PlayStation and Xbox for third-party support.

I love Nintendo, but they really screwed the pooch with the WiiU. First, it needs a better name to differentiate it from the Wii. Second, they overreached with the tablet controller trying to recreate the success of the Wiimote. Third, the biggest mistake they made was launching a console without any killer games.
