It’s because these kind of never-ending “endgames” don’t actually make sense, so the devs have to create this labyrinth of obscure tasks to fulfill to keep people playing.

The obvious joke answer to the heading is: “Because they’re the only ones still playing?”

Not to mention, it really doesn’t make a strong case for the internet’s chanting of things like “love wins” if people can’t seem to differentiate between different types of love, and equating love with sex. That’s just tragically naive. Then people turn around and they’re all like, “Hey, why does every movie/TV

Is it really so far-fetched to imagine that maybe they’re, you know, best friends? If they’re officially lovers, that’s cool, but any time two characters are close (same or opposite sex) it seems like the natural fan reaction is “oh dey fuckin”. It starts to get a little stale and one-note.

of course the fans make her lesbian...

My discomfort is more important than your dignity”

It is a stupid joke for sure, but outrage culture is way more annoying.

But...but...the headline clearly says that it IS!!

That tweet wasn't transphobic.

Cold Hummus is what’s wrong with the world.

Yep, I get the whole punching up, punching down thing, but, and there always is one isn’t there, a line does have to be drawn. I mean, heck, white people are soon going to be a minority in the US anyway so how about we stamp down on racism now instead of waiting a couple of years.
Let’s be fair here, you can call it

which is a different thing that is not racism

Tempting but I’m still hesitant about Destiny 2. The game is so boring and I haven’t decided if I want to make an effort to get back in. The grind is way too intense for me. I’ve been preoccupied with The Division which has completely turned itself around to be awesome now.

Almost certainly not. Bungie’s shockingly slow reaction to the intense backlash over all the negative changes made in this sequel has probably doomed the series. I’m pretty sure it can’t be saved now.

Looks like someone has never heard of Fire Emblem.

I don’t know, to me someone in South Korea being fired over retweeting a tweet with a slur for men is exactly the same as someone in America being fired for retweeting a tweet with a slur for black people. It’s very hypocritical to assume that South Korea is doing something wrong when the US is doing the exact same

If i was cynical enough i could recycle the “freedom of speech not consequence” quote often used against me. Instead, I’ll chuckle at the hypocrisy shown when the roles are reversed and the mob doesn’t choose it’s victim according to western liberals tenets of factual right and wrong.

Yet, if this were a company coming down on a male employee for saying “disgusting women” you wouldn’t have written this article and you’d all applaud the company. Equality my ass.

Maybe they don’t have the expertise, tenure or desire to be in those positions....or a laundry list of other reasons that aren’t sexism.

Probably its because there is not a big pool of women capable to lead one of the biggest franchises in gaming. THE BEST PERSON SHOULD BE HIRED FOR THESE TYPES OF GAMES.
