Hear hear, I have a pretty similar experience to you. Played Vanilla Destiny, it was alright, but raiding was tough. Even though I tried to use some LFG sites and the like, it was just more bother than I really cared to mess with. I checked out when TDB rolled out because it wasn’t much fun and erased all my progress.

Exactly, and this is why it is so disappointing to see so many titles, even AAA ones drop single-player and go multi-player only. People try to spin it as a plus, some kind of benefit or that it’s what the consumers want, I don’t buy it. For far too many of these games, it’s a cost-cutting measure, that’s all.

I’m

This is what I feel like saying to these guys:

“Fun, you keep using that word; I don’t think it means what you think it means.”

Seriously though, not my bag, but if it’s your thing, have a good time and go for it. I’m definitely impressed.

I liked his little rages. I thought it set his character apart from Darth Vader and it seems to fit perfectly with the Dark Side. It is all about rage and fear right? So it seems like indulging his anger would only strengthen his dark side.

Personally I think it is a blast beyond the fanservice. The combat system is great fun and the more you dig into it, the more cool stuff you learn to pull off. I muddled through the game on normal but put it up to hard and it’s almost a different game and definitely demands a lot more skill out of you.

Now, it depends

So glad to see Transformers Devastation on this list, it definitely deserves the spot.

Entry level gaming? What is that?

I don’t think that #2 is a good way to go. If you go PC, you go PC to get best-in-class graphics and #2 is not going to get you that. Personally, I got annoyed every time my PC couldn’t run a game on High or better because it just made me feel like I was not getting the full

If you’re new to gaming, don’t listen to all the pro-PC people out there. They try to make PC gaming sound super simple, it isn’t. Now I’ve done PC gaming, it’s great and has a lot of strengths. If you are a big graphics nut, you will never get better graphics than on PC, period. However, if you’re a big graphics nut,

“I wonder sometimes if—in what I think is a sincere political desire to decouple consensus and representation, to detach both obligations from the feminist writer—I am doing exactly what bothers me most in other people: going out of my way to justify whatever I find personally pleasing, acting in extreme self-interest

Can’t say anything for certain as this comic isn’t done but honestly it sounds nice. Dark and gritty has been done to death and I personally would appreciate a return to “heroic and uplifting”. Seeing superheroes have some struggles is all well and good but at the end of the day I want them to be a little more and

nvm

I’m firmly of the belief that Evolve and Titanfall would have done better if they’d had single-player. Not everyone is into competitive multiplayer but when that’s all that’s in your game, that’s the only people you’re going to get. I don’t think that audience is quite as large as people seem to think it is. Not to

I hope Steam Machines can find their footing or maybe a better version of something like OnLive takes off. I used to game on my console and PC but had to give up PC gaming. One, it was just tough to find the time to play all the games I had on my PC and console, easier to focus on one. Two, keeping my PC up to snuff

“I love story games, too, but for how long it takes to produce one, they don’t keep my console active long enough”

Going to have to disagree there. I play every night and have yet to run out of games, the number of good games coming out these days is that high. Honestly, there are games I end up skipping and still

$0 and I’m proud of it. I didn’t mind them selling emotes and was planning to buy Silver but then I heard they weren’t going to use the purchases to fund new expansions and release them for free. So that pretty much killed the point for me. This isn’t an F2P game, I’ve spent over $100 on this game so I don’t see the

So good! They need to make a sequel so we can play as Defensor and Superion!

Also, was I the only one who absolutely loved Grimlock’s dino run? Hi-larious, especially if you take him across the bridge when Blitzwing is chasing you.

Honestly, selling a level boost is not nuts. I know I have yet to fully level either of my alts because it is a pain, especially leveling the subclasses. Given that even once you hit lvl 40 and max out your subclasses you still have to lvl your gear, I think selling boosts makes some sense.

However, it should be a

That’s funny because I’m actually getting annoyed at all the never ending “esports” like games. It seems like far too many games are going in that direction, I have even avoided by buying Star Wars Battlefront over it. Personally, I prefer single-player/story games that I can play, beat, and then move on to the next

Nice article, unfortunately the WiiU’s status as a sidekick console is really troublesome. One, not all of us can afford two consoles. Two, even if we have the money, not all of us have the time. I’m hard-pressed to keep up with new releases I’m interested in just on my PS4, there’s no way I could play all the games I

I’m curious to see how Star Wars Battlefront does, because if it underperforms hopefully we will finally see the death of this model. It’s a bad model as Nathan points out. I do my best to sympathize with the companies and the fact that making these games is expensive but at the end of the day it’s just not worth
