Let's look at this logically. Phil Robertson believes people who don't accept Christ are going to hell. He then goes on TV and uses that platform to try and bring people to Christianity, which he believes, will save them from going to hell.

Eh, I can only speak for my personal experience which is that Gamecube was a bit of a disappointment near the end of its life cycle. PS2 was getting lots of great games that weren't coming out for Gamecube. I was pretty well-set on not getting Nintendo's next console as the new generation rolled around but Wii was

There is something wrong with a person so lacking basic empathy. If the apocalypse ever comes, I'd want to get as far away as possible from such a person.

It's not currently larger but unless third party devs change course and start signing on to WiiU, it will be larger.

I would agree with you. The only thing I would say different is that Wii sold despite the graphics, not because people were ignorant. It was just that motion control was so cool, and the console priced so cheaply, that people decided the trade-off was worth it. I could be wrong, but that's my take.

But yeah,

Fair point and I'm no business expert. All I can say is that I would have told Nintendo from day one that WiiU was a bad idea.

Regardless, any new console will take time. I'm of the opinion that the sooner they can release a new console the better, although maybe they should just wait until Sony and MS start the

This statement strikes me as more out of touch posturing by Mr. Iwata. They need a new console as of yesterday. Obviously, that's impossible but the sooner the better. Barring something completely major, WiiU is not going to turn around. I could be wrong, but I don't think even new games like Zelda and Smash will

That's fine if you can have two consoles, lots of people can't. I could be wrong but I think many gamers have determined that Wii spent too much time gathering dust in-between the admittedly great first party games. So, the choice I see is one between getting great games like Zelda but having long dry spells or

I wanted to like Transformers Legends but to get decent cards you needed to pay far too much money. Ultimately what little fun I was having with the game was completely overshadowed by the amount of frustration it was causing.

There was a novelty factor there though. Just like the Wii's motion controls, they were very cool and novel at first. As time went on, they didn't quite live up to the hype except for a few games (e.g. Skyward Sword). Notice how Nintendo isn't pushing them very hard even though WiiU totally supports them.

Kinect

Really? When I first heard about gamepad I was skeptical from day one. I mean, what was the point of it? Motion controls were cool because no one had really done them before. Gamepad is just a glorified iPad in an age when nearly everyone and their grandmother has at least a smartphone. Remote play is cool, but

Of the 3 things you listed only touch screen really took off. Game devs got really creative in using those. Motion controls never really lived up to the hype except in a very few games like Skyward Sword. Gamepad, I can't see that ever taking off. It just is neat but not essential, I can't see any way that it

Oh yeah, Nintendo probably can't get rid of gamepad, but it should never have been the main focus IMO. Oh well, no use crying over spilled milk.

Eh, they can just use achievement tracking for those kind of purposes, what you're talking about sounds pretty creepy.

Yeah, I'd agree it has far bigger issues then gamepad. Overall though, I do feel that if they'd spent less time and money on the gamepad and more on beefing up the system and working on the other issues, they would be in a stronger position now.

I could be wrong but Nintendo seemed to think gamepad would be a draw

They should have launched this way. It is just like the WiiU gamepad, a gimmick which is cool, but just not as essential as the companies want to pretend it is. Better late then never though.

Finishing up Final Fantasy XIII-2, gotta decide whether or not I'll do the endgame content, not usually my bag as I'm big on story.

Avengers Alliance was pretty cool but it was ridiculously difficult to play solo without spamming people for requests so that turned me off. Hopefully this one won't be the same.

Surely not all morality is subjective? After all, if all morality is subjective then who are we to say Stalin, Mao, or Hitler were wrong to engage in mass killings? Surely it is a moral judgment to say homosexuality is okay and should be treated as marriages are?

Regarding homosexual behavior, there is no reason for

There's a lot we could discuss and debate but I'll keep it short and simple. You're willing to admit that we make a choice to act out our behaviors. That is enough.
