To each their own. That level of progress is too slow for my tastes, there are some games, particularly JRPGs where I just don't really feel like I accomplished anything unless I get a good 3 or more hours in. Heck, not a JRPG but Armored Core can be like that, it is easy to spend an hour just customizing your mech.

I get plenty of time to game, there are just so many games out there. The thought of devoting so much time to one game, which never really ends. . . It just isn't for me, I don't have any beef with those who choose to play MMOs.

Currently unsanctioned by state, but the state is also basically refusing to do anything about it. Regardless, why shouldn't their "marriage" be recognized by the state? If one is willing to say two women = marriage, why not three?

How fortunate that no one opposes SSM simply because they don't like gay people then. Unless you are a mind-reader? In which case, can you tell me what I'm thinking right now?

Kids need a mother and a father. And as a father I can tell you that no matter how much I love my daughter, I will never be a mother to

There you go, exactly why the "slippery slope" argument conservatives keep using is perfectly valid and why gay "marriage" makes "marriage" a meaningless term. It's like the Incredibles "When everyone is special, no one is special". When everything's a "marriage", nothing is a "marriage".

Any group of people will

So why would you deny them a marriage? They love each other, they're consenting, they're not hurting anyone.

Except, by the logic of gay "marriage" there is no valid reason to deny them a marriage. Unless you're just a bigot who hates polygamists. Why shouldn't we recognize their love and grant it legal status? Isn't that discrimination?

Yeah, I wasn't really going for what bimbady is saying with my comment. I was simply lamenting that most MMOs require an extensive time commitment which I just am unwilling to make. Both because of life (friends, family, job, etc) and the fact that there are other video games I want to play.

Yeah, let me be clear that I have no problem with someone devoting a lot of time to an MMO. Personally, I just find the time commitment to be excessive and thus prefer to play games that provide shorter experiences. Being married does make having huge blocks of time for video gaming harder, but I think the trade-off

"Several years later I'll reach the level required to legitimately build a Warplot"

Exactly why I don't play MMOs, who has the time?

Hard to be a slippery slope argument when it has already happened brudda. People keep saying "slippery slope" and folding their arms like they've won, but we keep on sliding down that slope that people assure me is imaginary.

Except there's already a "throuple" of lesbians in MA, the man is making a very valid point. Gay "marriage" essentially makes marriage completely meaningless. Anyone and anything will be able to be called a "marriage". Of course, no one will believe this until it actually happens.

To each their own. I can understand the appeal of games like this but the struggle and frustration simply isn't worth it IMO. I play games to relax, not get my blood boiling. Plus, time. As a teen I had the time to endlessly replay things. As an adult I simply have too much else going on and too many other things

Except that the prices keep jacking up through the roof. The new Transformers Universe game is offering a $450 Founder's Package. It's not a mobile game, but it is F2P and it is mimicking some of the worst practices we've seen. If people had rejected all the earlier super-expensive packages, Jagex wouldn't think

There's no comparison between the value you get buying a Call of Duty, Final Fantasy, or Madden for $60 and spending $100 on Candy Crush or Clash of Clans. I don't see an issue paying money for mobile games, people make them to turn a profit, but the prices are completely ridiculous and as consumers, we shouldn't

Eh, I'm more excited about Destiny. Dust wasn't that good and to appeal to the casual crowd CCP really needs to do pretty much the opposite of what they do with EVE.

Who is paying for these things though? The prices on just about every mobile game are completely bonkers. $100 worth of whatever currency your game uses shouldn't even be an option in the buy menu, who is spending $100+ on smartphone games???

Personally, many mobile games are fine, they just are then broken so they can try and charge you for them. Whether that be timers or huge grinds, inevitably they end up making a perfectly good game and then intentionally ruining it.

He has a point. Haven't we all, at least once, said something in private that would make us look bad if broadcasted to the world?

Heh, I like that Songbird is a parrot on her shoulder.
