To be fair, though, don't you just wish EVERYTHING was this cute?

If you're asking for this to be a 40K game, you've never played a Total War game before. It just wouldn't fit the tech/design.

Bummed they didn't call it Total Warhammer.

I picked up an Ambassador edition and I have to say, it's an amazing upgrade. I never, ever used the 3D slider before, but the New 3DS is perfect. I always play with it turned up full. You always get the "perfect" sweet spot for 3D viewing no matter where you look. It really has to be seen to be believed, but hot

I would never understand why people have problems with the age of imaginary/fictional characters in adult games

Why would someone elses fantasies about fictional characters worry me? As long as that person is able to distinguish between his fantasies and reality there is no problem. Also we are still talking about highly stylised drawings that clearly look a lot different from an actual person.

What about a fantasy is harmful

Appreciate the clarification, though I understood that you weren't being personal :)

You could make a very similar case for violent video games,

If you feel a little squeamish about the sex scenes combined with the artstyle, then you're free to pick up the "All-ages" version that will be available on Steam soon.

Yes i know i just wanted to add some information to your post. Since i wanted to explictly point out that this content being legal in japan isn't entirely due to their culture and that a lot of other nations with a different culture actually have the same standpoint regarding this content.

"[...] lolicon and shotacon is allowed because they are drawn, and there are generally no regulations for possession of lolicon or shotacon materials."
This is exactly the same as in most of the western countrys, the only exceptions are UK, Canada, Australia and a couple of US-States. Since there is no victim there is

"As it stands, I think only those deep into anime or visual novel culture will be able to overlook the game's questionable elements[...]."
So you think there are only people who would hate or overlook those elements? So does liking Ero in Eroge make you a horrible person or what are you suggesting? I really don't get

Good review, but...yeah, complaining about the +18 things is like playing a plataformer and complaining about the ability to jump, I mean I get it but most people just skip it if they dont like it, and add a +18 patch to see the complete story anyways.

I have no problem with sex in games, but if there's sex in it and the game doesn't revolve ENTIRELY around it, then yeah, I agree, the sex needs to feel natural and not shoehorned in for me to personally be interested. I feel the same way when I read books... it's like, "Yeah, okay, we clearly needed to stop the plot

Of course this is where everyone brings out an opinion without ever having played the game or seen any of the scenes in question. It was not mentioned that in the game, 3 years pass before any naughtiness can be done with the two characters in question. All the other characters are teachers, princesses, architects and

Thanks for the review (I am the publisher). While some people hate on Kotaku for various reasons, they are at least one of the few major websites who won't refuse to cover any adult game because "think of the children" and all that. So we do appreciate Kotaku.

"Then again, I've never really thought that seriously about frying pans."

I can understand where you're coming from on translating the author's review into "the game has me touching ..." but, at the same time, while I kind of got a bit of that from reading it, it still read more like "I'm making this emphasis because this kind of stuff is a huge deal to some people - I like the game and

At least it was mentioned last, so there's still a lot of good stuff mentioned about the game. He did say several of the sex scenes felt right with the storyline. :)
