Drake is such a cringe-lord.

Everything Bran said about the role of the Three-Eyed Raven seemed to come from nowhere to me, but that said, it’s been a long time since I read the books.

Didn’t Bran actually see the creation of the first White Walkers? He knows the Children of the Forest — who he MET!! — created them from Man, as a weapon against Ma

Arya asked Bran one question — can magical fire kill these magical creatures we know are harmed by fire — and he’s like “IDK!” Thought you could see the future my dude!! Bran basically is a book, completely useless unless you “read” him (Tyrion, again, is the only one slowly figuring this out.)

I also fully expect Jaime to be the one that kills Cersei.

It’s funny that some people are more disturbed by Arya having consensual sex than the time she killed a guy, baked his body parts into a pie and then fed it to the guy’s sons.

As if Tommen Baratheon hadn’t been an 11-year-old looking boy, and no one blinked at him fucking as king.

Watching Arya get naked was a bridge too far for me. It was like watching your little sister lose her virginity. Also, I think she realizes she’s a lesbian because she did not look satisfied after it was over with. Maybe Podrick would have been a better choice?

And Gendry has had a low-key thing for Arya since almost the very beginning anyway! He told her a few seasons ago (when she was saying they could be like family to each other) “you wouldn’t be my family, you would be milady.” Yes, ok, he could have been speaking strictly about their class differences, but the tone in

THANK YOU. I feel like so much of the objection is because dudes don’t have a boner for Arya. “She looks young!”, but you know she isn’t, and you know she’s a woman in charge of her own body and her own mind. Gendry was clearly down for it. There was nothing gross about it. I’m always happy when one of the three cold

If we flip the races a bit, I suspect the police and media interpretation would be a tiny bit different.

Here’s one thing we can do, from the Jezebel FB post comment section:
“The Sultan of Brunei is the owner of the Dorchester Collection which includes the Beverly Hills hotel, Le Meurice & Plaza Athenee in Paris, Principe di Savoia in Milan, Coworth Park in Berkshire. It would be terrible advertisement if their social

Yeah, I’m not sure that young LGBTQ folx in the US should be “grateful they don’t live in Brunei”. That’s a super weird way of making sure people can’t push for change. Water sucks in Flint? Have you BEEN to Sudan? We compare our situation to what it ought to be, not to what it was before. Would you tell someone black

Yet I keep hearing that the situation in the United States today is the worst oppression there has ever been in the history of the world for LGBTQ people. Most young American LGBTQ activitsts and their allies don’t have a whole lot of historical or international perspective.

I really liked the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum. It’s small, inexpensive to get in, and a good place to kill a couple of hours and learn a little about Louisiana’s medical history. It’s worth doing the 1-hour tour too.

Get to know the locals-as long as you’re not acting like a “tourist” they’ll be friendly and you’ll learn a lot. Magazine Street is full of little shops and places to eat. Take the streetcar down St. Charles to view the homes in the Garden District.

Get a muffuletta to-go at Central Grocery (I’d say a quarter per person is fine but you could eat a half easily if hungry). Skip Cafe du Monde (the beignets are decent but the coffee with chicory is an acquired taste and it’s served at about a thousand degrees). Commander’s Palace is amazing if you want some of the

world-famous model Kendall Jenner

counterpoint:  everyone should see the Grand Canyon.  it’s spectacular and pictures will never do it justice

In Vermont skip the Ben and Jerry's tour. You pay $3 to walk through a working factory as someone wearing wearing tie dye recites a wikipedia page then you get a free sample. Just go to the store and buy a pint and eat it by yourself in the dark, the way that ice cream is supposed to be enjoyed. Or visit any one of

I’m going to give S10 a try, only because of Ian’s return. I want to see how he reintegrates himself into society, how he finds work as an ex-con, how he struggles to remain faithful to Mickey while (presumably) he’s still in prison. [If they eff up Gallavich, then I’m out.] I want to see how Frank adapts without
