Hey all, so I started watching Jane the Virgin a few weeks ago and with all the cold weather, I went full on binge watching this weekend and I LOVE IT! I identify so much with Jane and I’m really happy this show is on TV.

I’m treating myself to breakfast at a diner tomorrow (I’m moving away, so it’s my goodbye to the place) and I plan on buying 1-a dozen strawberry cupcakes that I will eat over the course of packing throughout the day. A movie marathon is also in the works, but I’m still deciding if it will be Disney or Harry Potter.

Both my parents were in a union with their teaching jobs and never had anything positive or negative to say. At the same time, they were both zero bullshit people and their union also wasn’t crazy, so that helped.

I had to break up far more fights than I liked when I was teaching. It’s never fun and always nerve-racking. I you, the parapro and both kids are all right.

How is Bumble, I never make it longer than 10 minutes on OKCupid and I spend 9 of them answering questions on the never ending quiz. I’m starting to think it’s not for me.

I’ve never understood how they can ban books but still insist on the classics. I mean, I feel like everyone has to read at least one work from Shakespeare who uses double entendre’s everywhere, but Sherman Alexie’s one mention of masturbation was “inappropriate”.

Honestly, I think it depends on the kid and the parent. I was always raised with the mindset that my car/phone/computer was not actually mine-it was my parents’ (since they paid for it) and anyone else had access to it. However, the only way for me to get in touch with 1000s of people at once was through the computer.…

One of the teachers I used to work with had four teenage sons and when they added them to their phone plans, he went to the store and had an employee show him how to basically track everything they did on their phones-so he can access their phone calls, text, browsing history, and which apps they’ve…

To add to the symphony bit, they also asked women to stop wearing heels-the click clack when they waked in gave them away.

Or just find a light skinned actor. Someone in another article mentioned Evan Ross-or someone of his shading. They didn’t even try.

Keep fighting the good fight! We need good folks like you in the classroom. But also consider the homeschool/online teaching stuff-I hear it’s a good alternative.

Just go for it, honestly. eBooks have completely changed the game for getting published.
