Unlike the truck, the comments are full of win. So much GIFfy goodness.

1966 Batmobile is best Batmobile. Does the costume come with it?

The chain grabs the gears (or vice versa), so you don't really need friction per se there (although I imagine there would be issues with a perfectly frictionless chain or cogs). You want to eliminate as much friction elsewhere (wheel bearings, bottom bracket) because that's just wasting as heat energy that could be

Yeah, I've wondered about the possibility of repainting a non-Grand Sport. Would that make one a poser, or just a Corvette enthusiast with a realistic budget?

That looks fantastic! I like C4's, maybe because the C4 design is about the same vintage as I am, so it was the Corvette when I was a kid. Anyway, I saw a C4 in that same color a few weeks ago and a beautiful sunny day and it was gorgeous.

It's like a full-sized Hot Wheels car. I'll take two, please.

I guess that makes sense.

Yeah, I thought that was pretty cool. But then, I'll go on record as saying I like Sandra Bullock.

NP.

The Z06 performance package was first offered on the '63 (C2) Corvette. I don't think (although I'm not sure) that it was an option on the C3 or C4, but came back for the C5.

You know, for all the folks who seem to be waiting for a mid-engine Corvette, and the various mid-engine concept/prototypes there have been over the years, I like that the Corvette has the engine in the front for that laid-back long hood look.

At a quick glance, I can't tell if it's coming or going.

Now playing

Back in my undergrad days, before YouTube, my friends and I would email strange music and videos to each other. "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" was kind of my nuclear option for inflicting maximum mental distress and it usually ended email chains. Then one of my friends topped it with "Yatta!"

Saw something like this on an AOTD a while back and I really really want one. I have a habit of owning wagons, and this pushes all my buttons.

And now I'm going to spend the next hour looking at El Caminos on Craigslist. Thanks!

Ha! Love that GIF.
