Yeah, I prefer female Shepard too, in large part due to Jennifer Hale's voice acting. She's done a lot of good video game voice work playing some kick-ass female characters (Samus Aran, Bastila Shan) and lots of superhero cartoon work too.
2 years ago, my Subie died on me and I didn't have much money, but still needed to get to work, so I purchased a 91 Geo Prizm from a gentleman with a very thick accent. I had a good working relationship with my mechanic, so he gave me the NY state inspection sticker and told me to never put any money into the car,…
Glad I could help. Fortunately, most of the letters I needed were already present in the banner, and the letters that weren't were easy to fabricate from parts of the letters that were.
I also like that their butlers are still named Jarvis.
From the linked article:
It says "hover-chair" to me. Although, since you point it out, I must admit that it actually says "hover-bumper-car-chair".
Yeah, that was exactly what I had in mind.
So reading the headline and very quickly skimming the blurb in my RSS feed, I thought it said "Monkey Writers". I thought it was some sort of place to watch monkeys bang on typewriters (Hey, it's Japan; who knows?). Couldn't figure out why you'd want masks in that situation. Not that this makes much more sense.
Since the disc was still on top of the DVD player from when I watched it the other day, I just popped it in to check, and this is not on the DVD, at least not the one I have. There is a behind-the-scenes featurette and deleted scenes, but that's about it.
@WrongThinker: Here's the full version and some links to a couple other good Metroid pics from the same artist:
@maggeimerc: Yeah, I was gonna watch last night's Chuck tonight, but it might have to be Galaxy Quest.
@scottelsdon: Have to agree with "Forever Free". "The Forever War" is amazing, and every other Haldeman book that I've read has been at minimum a good way to kill a few hours . Some of them have really stuck with me as most of his books give you something to think about, but that one just made me think "WTF?"
@SupaChupacabra: Mignola doing steampunk Batman? Why did I not know about this? Must read now. Thank you!
