I’m hoping beyond hope but not hopeful because adult swim owns the IP.

Yeah no. This list would’ve/should’ve been reviewed for exactly this sort of thing by like a dozen different people whose job this is who all have the internet before it even went to the production company. So not just one person being human but a whole group of designated fact checkers and proofreaders let these slip.

When we did it on overnight field trips in the early 80s, you’d hold your palms to your carotid at your neck after standing up as fast as you could and basically try to cut off as much blood flow to your brain as possible like a dumbass. A bunch of the “popular” girls were faking it and falling ever-so-gracefully onto

The MacNeil/Lehrer Report was required viewing through grade school in my house. I mean literally - my parents watched it and we only had one tv and no internet back then. We kids might gripe for a minute or two, but generally we settled down and watched it together. Thank you for making my family smarter, Jim.

I actually got the hair peptide serum as part of a kit a year or two ago and didn’t get visible results from it - but I don’t have thinning hair issues at this point so it’d be hard for me to say. A friend with stress alopecia claimed it helped, but again, without a control sample to compare it to, YMMV. I also found

Yes to everything and ESPECIALLY looking after your neck and chest, including anything peel-y your using and ESPECIALLY sunscreen.

The Ordinary! The Ordinary! The Ordinary! The Ordinary! The Ordinary! The Ordinary! I will sing their praises to the hills. Cheap active ingredient-centric skincare products that are ethically produced. Don’t like something?  Cheaper to hand it off for a friend to try than return it.

And then there was the time that TMBG was on “Home Movies”:

I LOVE that they corrected it, personally.  Just like science, they revised in light of new information.

Suddenly I remember that I saw this when it aired.  THEY WERE SO YOUNG!  THAT HORN SECTION!  DOC SEVERINSEN!  ED SHAUGHNESSY!

My standout is the Bronson Pinchot interview:

As much as I appreciate Basia Bulat’s covers (and I do! I really do!), they don’t win me over with sheer joyous energy as “Tubthumping”. Plus there’s all those old school AVCers in that small round room with one of my favourite bands.

I don’t remember anything conclusive out of that, either, but I am old and of increasingly feeble mind.

I’d heard that - but we definitely did not get it. We did, however, get some repurposed “Chandelier” (which was way better than it sounds now that I actually type those words) and a djent-ish version of “New York City” because the Johns just found out djent existed that day (so they claimed) (and ditto, it was

I had somehow completely forgotten their Destiny’s Child AVCU cover but found it along with a whole AVCU re-up playlist:

Also let’s relive arguably the best AVC Undercover ever (unless it’s GWAR, but just for sheer joyous energy):

A coworker at a summer job back in 1991 introduced me to TMBG with “Flood”. We’re still friends and still quote lyrics to each other. And then last year I was lucky to see them live in a smaller venue and it was honestly one of the most fun shows I’ve ever seen. Everyone in attendance was a fan and they really brought

Saute until wilted in a bit of olive oil, add salt and pepper and a bit of lemon juice if you like right before serving.  One of my favourite of the bitter greens, along with radish tops.  (Somewhat related - carrot tops make a delicious pesto.)

Well, I kind of want two of everything on that page now.
