My family watched “Bizarre” religiously back in the day and Super Dave was always a highlight - to this day we yell “FUJI! NO!” at each other. I still remember my world being rocked a few years ago when I found out he and Albert Brooks were brothers.

The whole point of DC’s promotional thrust with the Aquaman movie is to make him more archetypically superhero-y and “masculine”/”manly” than the version 90% of the public is familiar with. What else are they going to do?
