Almost Twin Peaks-ish, what with Ray Wise there. I half expected him to morph into Bob.

I was really into this show when it first started, but gee willikers, it just keeps getting slower and dumber.

Well, Hector believes they were gay. Not quite a positive confirmation, but it is likely from how Gus held a grudge about the death.

Ah! So they do make such a thing! Perhaps that is what the noise was then. Still don't know why the door was left open, or why his nose and mouth were glued shut, but I am sure we will find out. Thank you for your reply.

Just re-watched and was reminded of a question I had. What was the beeping sound going on when Gloria found Ennis dead in the kitchen? The freezer door was open, but i've never seen a fridge with a warning that the door was left open.

Chekhov's tampon.

Or alien.

"Unfathomable pinheadery" was my favorite line.

No coverage of Genius on Nat Geo? Watched the first episode tonight and it was very good. I came here hoping for a review and discussion, but alas….

Captions are not done from scripts, just what the typist (who is often under tremendous time pressure) thinks they hear. CC is often rife with mistakes. Alan Sepinwall is a well-known TV reviewer, and in his piece, he say, "Emmit keeps referencing a broker whose name sounds a bit like Mike Ehrmantraut’s, but I’m told

They actually said "Ehrmantraub" with a B.

{{hugs}}

I thought the same "how weird to use a name from Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul" but then they said the name again, and I think it was Ermantraub, with a B. Still…so close it takes us out of the moment.

Need a hug? I'm a grandma, I give great hugs.

Geez, dude, chill. Yes, you were right. Feel better?

I suppose it's possible. Come to think of it, the air scrubber that Hank eventually tracked down to the laundry and signed for by Gale, was purchased by Madrigal, so I guess he would have needed someone on the inside for that.

The BB finale was set at the Nazi hangout, with Todd's adjacent meth lab, complete with huge metal tanks, as the last thing Walt touched.

I'm not sure the German was "in on it" but rather, was horrified and embarrassed that this was going on under his nose, and he committed suicide out of shame.

It seemed like the female doctor (played by Clea DuVall) was suggesting it when they brought Chuck in. Jimmy finally agreed to go with the temporary order, but I think it would have been pretty easy for Jimmy to get a longer-term order.
It is much easier to get one when a professional like a physician or police

Chuck is awfully cocky for a guy who could be declared insane by his brother and the doctor who knows his "electricity allergy" is nonsense. I don't know if this incident is enough to turn Jimmy into the kind of person who would commit his brother, but the possibility is out there.
