Wrong. You're spending $200 and getting $40 worth of something else, so you're "effectively" spending $160 on the 3DS, and $40 on something else. He's 100% correct about the difference between effectively and absolutely.

It's also illegal in NYC unless the rider is age 12 or younger or the bicycle's wheels are less than 26 inches in diameter. But it's a much wider variation in laws than I thought.

Interesting provision. This, from the NY DOT: While riding a bicycle on a sidewalk is not prohibited by New York statutes, some municipalities have passed ordinances prohibiting bicycle traffic on certain sidewalks. This prohibition is usually posted. Sidewalks are for pedestrians. Cyclists on sidewalks can cause

Because it's against the law almost everywhere? The sidewalks are for pedestrians, bikes are not pedestrians.

I'm not sure you know what racist actually means. You just used a generic racist statement instead of a specific one, and called out every member of some vague race based on the fact that they must all act the same way because of their race. That's the definition of racism. Getting cute about not saying which race

Bikes riding on the sidewalk is explicitly against the law. And I'm pretty sure you're required to stop before crossing any street.

Are you being serious, or being ridiculous to make a point? If balancing a gun you liked is injustice, I'd hate to see how you react to something with literally any consequence.

This is the reason I hate Time Warner so much more than Verizon. I've had some CS runarounds from Verizon, and I generally hate dealing with their customer service, but their service is solid, and I rarely have problems. I've also had very pleasant experiences with their reps. Time Warner service is a joke, and I have

It's 100% your fault if you aren't talking to someone about the books, and you throw book-based spoilers their way when they're only discussing the show. Your sentiment is only not completely douchey if someone who has only seen the show is participating in a discussion about the book and get mad because the show

There's also a couple in the Marin Headlands right outside of San Francisco. They're pretty awesome to walk through.

Can always spot a fellow Cracked reader.

Was going to say this same thing. I agree that the missions can get a little repetitive, but I haven't had a problem with stuff being broken in months, and I play about once a week. Yeah, it's not what it could be, but it definitely works. Excited to see if heists will breathe some life into it.

I don't think he's hating on it. I think "not a condensed origin story" is a compliment, he's hating on the first one, which I kind of agree with. Was not a fan. The new one looks awesome though.

Yeah, the 3D in this game was seriously lacking. By far my biggest complaint.

I'll try that. But wouldn't that show in the videos? Or can you show replays without the extra effects showing up?

Flowchart about whether people still use the word "Butthurt":

Most of it seems reasonable, because the game is crazy, but the one where he launches the car is way off. He got way, way more air than you'd actually get in the normal game on that one.

The Spotify deal doesn't seem to allow former students to get the discount. I was required to provide a current transcript, which I don't have because I graduated a few years ago. That seems reasonable, but doesn't jive with the "Student Discounts Forever" theme presented here.

The problem isn't that the apps necessarily aren't useful, it's that they're forced on us. I have Verizon, and the My Verizon app isn't horrible, but the fact that I can't uninstall it makes it absolutely not ok.
