Depending on how your local theaters are, you also have to account for the general viewing experience there. In my neighborhood at least, I’ve had a lot of issues with loud people and cell phones and other disruptions at AMC and Regal theaters, while Alamo is pretty strict about that stuff, so is almost always a

This is the worst take I’ve heard on this today. Do you think that just because you pay your workers, you’re allowed to treat them like garbage? Not everyone has the luxury of quitting their job at the drop of a hat.

Often the timing of eating determines how much you’re eating though. Obviously the timing isn’t important, but for some people its an aid to controlling the other things that do matter.

Except that it’s objectively not. There are more crimes there than a lot of other places because there are WAY more people there. The crime rate is way lower than people who make this stupid claim ever realize.

Any word on NHL 22? In previous years it has dropped to EA Play in April, but maybe it’s not something they announce in advance? I saw Squadrons on here and thought maybe they were giving some notice now, but NHL isn’t on the list.

I took that as a genuine reaction of shock because he couldn’t believe what was happening, but then he immediately recovered.

I could not disagree more. Rock took the hit like a pro, spun it into a joke, and mostly kept the show moving after an event that could have derailed the whole thing. I think he couldn’t have handled it better.

There was an entire game about Chief going AWOL and a team being sent to track him down. I get what you're saying, but that's not unprecedented.

Fair, but I just saw that as similar to any of the times in the games something would be exploding and Chief would bring out one of his patented “CORTANA, WORK FASTER” lines. It was never panic, but there was definite urgency.

I don’t recall any moment in the show that led me to believe Chief was “panicking”. I actually think the Chief in this makes total sense as a prequel Master Chief from the games. I don’t think anything he did would be wildly inconsistent with the Chief I know.

I feel like "don't use coupons" as the solution here is a flawed one. If you're aware enough of the psychology to stop using coupons, you're aware enough use those coupons only on the thing you want/need, then leave. Also, you compare that people spend more when using coupons than without, but that doesn't take into

I disagree. When the warning came up, I was dreading some sort of awful workplace sexual assault situation. That didn’t happen, and if the warning wasn’t there, I never would have thought that. The warning put that scenario in my head. If I was a person with an extreme sensitivity to thoughts like that, it absolutely

Absolutely agree. I should have left the article thinking "Wow, what a dick that guy is" but instead I steeled myself for something truly horrible and then left relieved that that was all it was. Obviously that's the wrong takeaway, even just as an initial reaction.

Also, you don’t have to relate to every character in every story. You can appreciate the story for the story itself, without needing to always insert yourself. That feels like the type of issue a little kid would have with a story, not an adult.

I absolutely respect why content warnings exist, but in a story like this, where it’s just mentioned as a plot point and not described in any way, doesn’t the content warning have the same amount of triggering content as the actual article? Does the warning help?

That’s the whole point. You’d say that when you actually don’t feel you were in the wrong, but the other person was bothered by the situation. You wouldn’t say it if you know you’re wrong, and just don’t want to actually apologize. Then you’d just say nothing that involves the word “sorry”.

This is a weird list. Some of them are “actually both of these are correct” and others are “these usages are technically wrong but I don’t care”. Those are 2 very different takes. Myriad actually means both things, and people criticizing the one usage are the ones who are wrong, while “could care less” and “ironic”

Really stretching the definition of “metropolitan” to its breaking point.

I think the mode is a lot of fun, but absolutely agreed on the challenges. The ultimate challenge for week 1 was 25 mangler kills, and I literally played 18 total games before I got the 3rd mangler game to get my last 2 kills. It was awful. They absolutely either need to make every option available for selection as a

The explanation behind an internet meme being “It thought it was dumb and funny, and then other people started doing it too” gives me no information beyond my immediate thoughts about any meme. I don’t think this needed its own article, but that’s just my opinion.
