I completely agree, and I think it has a lot to do with how Blizzard set it up. The shared experience and leveling means that one person doesn’t fall way behind, it just slows the team up very slightly, so it’s never a single person being targeted and overwhelmed over and over like it is in League if you fall behind.…
And the ending perfectly put a bow on the “team working together through sacrifice to save the day” storyline. The fact that all your work as Master Chief doesn’t happen unless this team pulls off the impossible caught me by surprise in the best way.
I don’t like many of his videos, but he’s always seemed like a level-headed and likable guy. Good for him for finding something some people like, apparently given his popularity, and not becoming a douchebag about it.
He was very upfront about it, with the “We being used loosely”. He’s not pretending.
I think that’s a hugely important distinction. Thinking that suicide is selfish isn’t, in itself, a horrible thing. He was just an insensitive dick about it.
The primary elections aren’t over yet...
I continue to fail to understand this argument. Don’t read the articles you’re not interested in. I purchased all of the content for Destiny as it came out. I played the crap out of it. I play very rarely lately. I still don’t feel like it was money wasted. If you don’t like it, then don’t play it, it’s not edgy to…

Agreed about grabbing the gun. I think I punched the left guy, dodged and grabbed his gun to shoot the center guy, then punched the right guy to death before catching the center guy’s gun to shoot the guy outside the elevator. If you wait to catch the gun until the last guy is dead, you can beat the door’s opening, so…
I backed their Kickstarter, and the tier that got you the game was $14. No indication of what the final cost would be, but I’d say that’s a good ballpark, $15-$20.
I really disagree with that. Colbert tried to make a joke about it, and Affleck got really defensive and irritated. He wasn’t mean, he teased him, because that’s what he does. If you’re going to get that worked up about some teasing, maybe stick to the interviews where you know they’re going to just suck up to you. He…
Thank you for being honest over edgy. Not accusing the article of that, just a lot of people on the internet. Sometimes things everyone hates actually aren’t that bad. Cheesy Gordita Crunch is awesome.
Wrong. “Card sets that aren’t part of Standard format won’t be available for purchase from the in-game Shop, but you will be able to craft any of those cards using Arcane Dust, including cards from Adventures that previously could not be disenchanted or crafted. You will be able to purchase Adventures that are part of…
It’s “drivel”. But I agree, the information is a bit lackluster, but people on the forums and on reddit get mad about every update, so this is nothing new.
I completely agree. The year 1 raids, or at least the Vault of Glass, are incredible. A few Taken King quests require you going back there, or even completing the raid again, and while it’s insanely easy now, both knowing the dynamics and being overleveled, it’s still a great piece of content. The newest raid is…
Nope, not really. Jokes are best unexplained.
Why is the Ocarina one a deal? That price was full price when the game came out several years ago. Great game, no doubt, but that’s certainly not one of the “best gaming deals”.

Have you ever seen a deck of all/mostly legendaries? Those are specific legendaries picked out for a specific reason, and they’re still horrible. This is crazy and fun, but it’s not really a good card. At least it’s certainly not a consistent one.
I don’t think that’s a terrible thing, if they also provide actual content for free using some of the profits. That’s exactly what Valve did with TF2, and I don’t think there’s that much outrage about that.
