Exactly. A lot of people are mad about this, but it’s just the TF2 hat system. If the free stuff is high-quality and fun to play, I’ll definitely throw money at stupid little extras to support this type of thing. If the free content sucks, probably not so much.

I think it’s a ton of fun, but I would keep in mind that a ton of the experience is meant to be done with others. A bunch of my friends play, so I have strike teams and raid groups and such. If you’re going in solo, you might still have a great time, but I can’t speak to how replayable it is if you’re always matching…

This is exactly where I am. I’ve been playing very regularly since day 1, and I’ve always generally enjoyed myself. There were a lot of problems, and there still are issues, but the game has improved SO much, it’s still so much fun.

I agree with this. When PVP works correctly, which is admittedly a good chunk of the time, it’s so much fun, but when the problems crop up, it is HORRIBLY frustrating. If they could fix the lag issues, that would make it so, so much better.
