Except that that was never released by Bungie. I’m as disappointed and frustrated as the next guy, but using a screen someone datamined from a database, and was never released as actual promotional material, doesn’t show that they lied. It sucks, sure, but call them out on the bad stuff they actually did.

Couldn’t you create a video on a PC, move it to an Xbox, play the video on the Xbox, and record that and upload? Convoluted, but a nice way around what you’re describing.

I can vouch for these, to a point. They're not particularly nice, and I've had a few that didn't quite fit right, but they're so insanely cheap, it's worth a shot to see what you get. As far as cheap protectors go, these are pretty much the cheapest.

No, it’s like calling Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare “Advanced Warfare”, like people absolutely do. Don’t be pedantic just because. Pretty much every article I’ve seen about the game uses “Hardline” as shorthand.

Everyone arguing that this is a good decision because the internet is scummy is just flat-out wrong. This is a terrible decision. Put voice chat in the game, and have it so you can disable it if you want. If annoying people online bug you, don’t use it. If you want to use it, because team games are objectively better

While I feel you’re being dramatic, to each his own. However, you’re missing out on a pretty great game. At worst, the humor is eye-roll-worthy. At best, it actually made me laugh. Maybe more misses than hits as far as the jokes go, but I genuinely enjoyed this game.

That's what he's saying. It does cancel evolution, and he's worried it's cancelling the capture, so he doesn't hit anything.

I love this so much. I was there actually, sitting right next to where this happened, and it was one of the most fun moments of the entire convention. Thank you for posting this again.

Yeah, I wasn’t trying to be a dick, was just genuinely shocked. There’s just constant whining. It’s tiring.

Seriously? First time on the internet? Flippant sarcasm aside, I've never seen anything Destiny-related online without a torrent of people saying this same stupid "People still play this game?". Is it a perfect game? Far from it. Have I found most every experience in the game to be at least somewhat enjoyable? Also

I agree with this. To me, it's a distinction between "Well that's kind of a lame way to do it" and "That's blatantly cheating". Take Destiny. Finding a spot where the boss has a very hard time hitting you, staying there, and using it for all it's worth, even though you potentially can't lose while you're standing

You're aware that Bill Belichick is considered by everyone outside of New England to be 1. An excellent coach, but 2. A classless cheater and douchebag?

My favorite part of the Crota kill is that he didn't do literally anything there, let alone actually kill him, but that's absolutely something I would have done, because it was awesome.

I don't usually type it myself, but that's just because I'm lazy. I always viewed it as similar to the handshake line at the end of a sporting event, not a particular comment on the outcome. If it was a particularly great game, I usually see more specific comments on that.

Agreed. I rarely have people throwing too much crap around, but I've literally never been insulted by someone on the opposing team, outside of maybe the end-game lobby.

1. Maybe you're right about why they're popular, maybe you're not. You have no way of knowing why they're popular. 2. Who cares? If you're not watching them, and not using them as an excuse to be a douchebag to other people (which would make you a douchebag all-around), then it literally does not matter one bit to you

I hear stories like this all the time, so I must be some sort of crazy exception, but I can't remember a single time I've ever played with anyone half as bad as this. Maybe it's because I'm usually in a group with friends, so we only have 2, maybe 3 strangers tops on our teams, but I can't think of one instance of

Yeah, I also like that it's played off like it's just a life tip. "Save money on groceries by just not paying for them!"

Were you? New to the whole sarcasm thing?

I know this is a joke, but this is a huge, huge misconception about New York. I know a ton of people who moved there and had their parents be really concerned, when per capita, New York is way safer than wherever they were coming from.
