I’ve said this elsewhere, but he is also mischaracterizing the focus of the march. The organizers have been very clear: this is not a march against Trump, it’s a march for women’s rights.

You want to know the best thing about concern trolls? They can never have enough criticism of the oppressed. Had this rally been named “The Rally Against Trump” or some such shit, you better believe Chait would have been complaining about the name being too “partisan.”

It’s important for defeatist liberals to read this stuff. Just today I was berating yet another liberal reciting the mantra that “it doesn’t matter, his supporters don’t care what he does wrong”. His supporters don’t represent the majority of Americans. So yeah, it does matter. It’s our job to chip away at him by

Let’s meet on the way down there and pelt Pence’s puritanical palace (governor’s mansion) with tampons, pads, and other vaginal accoutrements!

Hehe, this is good! I will be there, with my husband, who knew he was welcome because he spent 5 seconds Googling it

It’s funny, I never even got a man card in the first place, and yet I’ve been walking around for years as 100% a dude.

It’s interesting that men are fond of telling women all we have to do to succeed in the workplace/be treated equally is force ourselves into stuff without caring whether we’re wanted not. Just ask for the money you’re sure they won’t give you! What’s the big deal? Just MAKE them take you to the meeting/outing they

I don’t read New York magazine, because I assumed that it’s only for people from New York. The name of the magazine is the only information I got.

Funny that the march is named after one of a few groups that have most to lose from this presidency, right? I can not countenance this constant concern trolling. Straight white male fragility is like the best kind of fragility. It’s YUGE.

A far scarier thought is that they are all 1%. We are talking the top of the top. The “only little people pay taxes” type. Forget about things like universal healthcare, living wages, well funded public schools, programs to help the unemployed and blue collar jobs. These people aren’t like the Gates. They are in it to

I was pretty sure he wouldn’t win. Every once and a while I’d start to worry, but then I was like, nope...never going to happen. It wasn’t until my boss said he thought trump was going to win, the Friday before the election, that I really started to worry.

This is 100% exactly me.. Closing in a month. Apparently interest rates had the highest spike in over five years the two days after the election. We are doomed.

Stop thinking about it as an “administration” and start thinking about it as a “regime”. Then stop thinking about how it is going to end, because it isn’t. Ever.

My thoughts exactly. Believing in the fundamental decency of everyone you encounter is a wonderful trait until you encounter a truly indecent person. This goes for politics as well as your personal life.

I had “what if?” Trump stress dreams prior to the election, but they stopped cold after they ended up coming true. I think that means that on a subconscious level I’ve accepted our fate.

No, it’s becoming more and more clear that some shit is about to go down, and I don’t like the way it’s going...

i’m sick of this shit, we dont’ need Bernie Sanders, we need Robbespiere

I don’t think you are paranoid. I think your suspicions are pretty close to what did go down.

You’re not paranoid if they’re actually out to fuck over your country.

It will certainly be fun to watch all of the spineless, mealy mouthed republicans in congress try to gaslight and explain away what is starting to look more and more like fucking treason.
