Just want to say thank you for writing this and I'm looking forward to your memoir (singular or plural in English?).

Maybe this is what optimal training is though. Something that fits you perfectly, has you content and happy. The way people are training nowadays looks exhausting and I'm not talking about the workout!
Beat me to it!
But how would I effect change in TV and movie industry? In the mean time, a lot of people are enjoying grim-dark, gory, bloody entertainment. I don't want them *not* to have entertainment. I'd like those of us who prefer other stuff to still have access to the subtlety of entertainment of yore.
I think I'm getting old... I am so over creepy slash gory slash bloody. I don't want to dull my senses I want them refined and tuned in! How long will this trend last until we go back to subtlety again?
Unfortunately, my friend, there is no faithful adaptation of this novel. Each movie skipped important elements from the novel. In any case, which adaptation are you talking about? The Omega Man with Charlton Heston (ugh)? In a way, the end is pretty similar to the Will Smith vehicle. The Last Human sacrifices himself…
Oh wow! Never heard that version. Hyenas are not really big though. Wolves used to be gigantic what with all the game running around free.
I saw one, here in New England with it's head probably reaching right around my shoulder... Okay, he was far so who knows. He just stood there staring at me and my dogs in no hurry…
Bite your tongue! Can't believe someone posting on io9 would post something like that. I don't know about you but I'm ready for the future like now. I only wish I was 20 years younger so that I could have a chance to participate.
What I was wondering is, will he now continue to haunt that room like the other ghosts? Even though he chose his death? How come he's on the same plane as his daughter? The other ghosts didn't really interact with one another. I don't mind him dying but sometimes the we-need-a-weird-and-intense-ending trope gets old.
Wolves were all over France and, I'm not sure but, hyenas are not known to live that far into Europe? If I recall the Beast of Gévaudan was, indeed a wolf.
But I don't understand this ending in context. What does it mean?
I Am Legend defied the original story which is one of my all time favourite novel. To me the title meant: I AM LEGEND. The last of all humans. Therefore, making me a monster and a killer in this new world.
Hoping the same does not happen to Being Human Aidan Turner. After the disappointment of The Hobbit I was like "uh-oh." Where Art Thee, now?
Thank you for this information. I will research to see how to best integrate this within my communication class where first year students often have a difficult time expressing their emotions clearly. Maybe there are some types of (light) exercises that I can find on the web for them to work on.
You wrote a good synopsis which eerily reminded me of GamerGates current tactics. The people who think it's funny to torture a 10-11 year old little girl (calling her nasty names and all on top of that) probably enjoy torturing women gamers and developers, as well.
Mmmmmkay... Now I see where Bondage Fairies got its influence!
Are these really supposed to represent supernatural creatures? Because this one is titled "Representation of a ferocious beast called hyena."
I got a gigantic box of Heavy Metal that I've been carrying with me through THREE countries! Started with two boxes...
Oh dude, you got the hook up! You're a librarian! So awesome! Ha ha, then use your mad skillz and magic!
If you live close to a college, their librarians will help you find a copy of the research. Especially if you have a regular town library card.
