Hey-ho!
Hey-ho!
You noticed that too, huh?
I find it interesting how those "different" accounts are all trying to push the same buttons for you...
Wait... What? Did you send this as a tip to Adam Weinstein? I really like his take on American politics. Off to the google-mobile!
Very nice...
If I'm not mistaken, I've been to a couple of photoshoots and, I guess, there's a rack where the subject can pick their own outfit to be styled by stylists.
Now, don't be upset! I found a random link but I know it was here on io9 somewhere... A friggin' cat holding a chewie doll won! Because... Internet, I guess?!
Same here... just this big knot and nausea. It's the utter powerlessness, I guess.
Usually, I would agree with you (never up to harming a human or animal though) but if you can't let your dogs loose in a remote area in the wilderness, where else can ya? We've got to be able to breathe and pretend we're free somehow!
You know he lost that contest?!
You read my mind! My next stop was to be Tor... But not tonight! Even though I'm procrastinating a bit, if I delve into this rabbit hole...
Wanted to add that I appreciate your expertise and you sharing your passion for his work.
Wow, Greg! Thanks for all this info! And it appears I have been reading him (as well as watching, love me some Twilight Zone) Mr. Matheson all along! The Incredible Shrinking Man haunted me! For the longest time, I would remember when he met with a little person and was clinging to normalcy but for a few days.
No way! Okay, now I have to take a look at Matheson's bibliography! I read I Am Legend when I was maybe 15-16... Since then, I've been re-reading it on a regular basis. Maybe every other year or so. Last month, I read the last two chapters but I think I will tackle the whole thing again, soon.
How interesting! Matheson who went on to write I Am Legend? The circle is complete!
I do the same but I use a straw hoping that's slightly more hygienic than putting my mouth directly on the ziploc.
Go, go, GO! You know you won't regret it! i still have to wait for November 14!
I really like your analysis. This entire thread has helped me understand gamer identity much better. It is tribalism. Society reflecting online. Plus ça change, plus c'est pareil! I feel I still need to understand what is gaming culture, though.
Kevin, this was lovely and powerful. Makes me want to go back to Racialicious, it's been too long. I'll be keeping an eye out for you! And thanks...
To think the poor man was publicly humiliated by the Times which inferred, well not quite inferred as much as declaimed, that he had no knowledge of basic physics! Here are two interesting articles, if you want to read about it (as well as the belated apology printed a few years ago):
