Yeah like in Fallout you can be good and disarm Megaton for some XP and a blasting cap or you can be bad and ANNIHILATE TEN QUEST LINES.

guac is good

Like you, I always seem to pick the dialogue option that skips the cool reveal. I never was able to figure out what was going on with any of my companions in Dragon Age Origins

If you abuse dodge in Bayonetta you should be able to figure out normal. I also recommend sticking to the basic weapons (um…hair?) first since some of the ones you get later are finicky if fun.

Once you make the first few asshole choices it really is more fun to be the monster usually. Hell there's much less ludonarrative dissonance since you're usually a human blender in most games anyway.

Sorry we had to cancel that to make way for the dead white people tribute which has ballooned to twenty minutes because of williams and hoffman.

I would give the Oscars a bit of a pass on this only because it seems like problem with the industry at large. I saw about 25 films this year (not including Selma) and Top Five was the only one that had a black lead. I think I see a good variety (maybe not) but even with indie's the field is very monochromatic

Hollywood hates critics

It took my ten minutes to remember who won last year

I though this one was up there with Zissou.

Their documentary choices are always awful. This category is safely ignored

Maybe it was political, since this was Goyer's first film and he previously wrote Real Steel which might not excite people

Reasonable though your opinion may be (imitation was a bore that happened in four rooms), you probably couldn't get most of the Academy to even watch something like John Wick

brainwash still does stuff in LA so it's more a real fake than fake reality

Yeah she was playing a singing witch who lost some beans, give her a night off guys

Maybe Calvary could have snuck in somewhere?

She was fine in Birdman, a complex character though not really crucial

What a joke that they passed over Act of Killing last year for the soporific back up singer doc.

Just based on past years, I think Maleficient and Guardians are tough bets, usually they stay away from the blockbusters in these categories. I agree of Budapest for productions, Turner for costumes(period is a fav here) and maybe foxcatcher for makeup

The Academy isn't very creative in this category I think Leviathan is a pretty big favorite
